lol no one care about this crap league

The 'Lockout League' has begun in Las Vegas, but attendance has been disappointing.

There have only been between 24 and 36 paying fans per game, according to a report.

Joe Abunassar is the organizer of the league and players such as John Wall and Kyle Lowry are scheduled to appear.

Every time I hear a comment about the kid, it's a compliment on how hard he works or great he's doing or how he's going to shock people...I'm excited.

I love to hear stuff like that tweet by Jared Dudley about Iman. Can't wait to see this kid play.

and I'm not shocked Selby had a great game. I wanted the Knicks to draft him, but I understand why they didn't.

From some of the dunks I've seen from Iman, I could see him possibly bring in a dunk contest in the future and I think he's gonna have some highlight dunks in his Knicks career. I think he has the type of game that will translate really well to Mike's up tempo system. I'm excited about this kid.

The fact that he's both known as a strong defender AND has exceptional athleticism is pretty exciting - especially since it sounds as if his shot is better than advertised pre-draft, which is the skill he needs to show in order to be an all-around backcourt player.

Agreed. I think the kid can be great. But we still have to see him perform well on an NBA court before really proclaiming this kid great. But so far the signs are promising.

Someone on another message board posted this Shumpert line for game 2 (not sure what the source is):

[edit] the formatting didn't work, but basically it was 5/10 on 2-pointers, 3/4 on 3-pointers, 19 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal.

If it's accurate, looks as if he's still hitting shots.

Looks like Iman is quite a stat stuffer. Sort of like Landry has been for the Knicks but hopefully with Shump there will a bit more offensive skill and defensive intensity as Fields is more of a glue guy that does the little unseen things.

Iman looks to be more athletic than Landry (wayyyyyy quicker laterally) and a better ball handler from what I can tell.

Like I said before, he's superior to Fields in almost every way and was laughed at. Fields in actuality isn't all that athletic. He doesn't have the footspeed to play significant SG minutes on a team that even remotely cares about defense. Shump should most definitely start over him.
