I guess this is what he went to back @ KY that he mentions in the IMG video...

He don't look too bad. He's a thick dude anyway,I can accept some girth if he knows how to use it. Funny thing I picked up from the video.... he's from St' Louis, the same hometown as the guy some have compared him to, David Lee!

Harrelson's game is way more Nick Collison than David Lee if you ask me

Definitely. Only on the Knicks board could people read a tweet like that negatively.

First day at the workplace

OMG!!11!!!!!! What a lazy buuuuuuummmmmb!

.....and Collison would be good for Jorts.... floor! I'd like to see more out of him but if that's all he became as a second round pick that would be good for a back up c/pf.

Not a rookie update...but via hahn
Landry comes to say hello. Clearly bulked up, spoke candidly about shrinking last season in playoffs. Always impressed w/ this dude.

Shumpert joked about intensity of #knicks fans on Twitter. Said he tweeted he's with mom and people said, "Why aren't you in the gym?" #fb

:droop:

He wasn't known for his quickness but I hope the bulk isn't straight 'weight' and slows him down. Getting leaner and more muscular can actually help with quickness and explosion. Let's hope it's more like that.

But even still....

Meh...I think he's more Brandon Bass (without the full athleticism but taller) than Collison. A combo of the two maybe, but even then...more Bass than Collison.

I don't know Bass' range but Jorts has a pretty sweet stroke from outside. He might not be a 'shooting big' type but he's good enough to keep out of Amare's way under the basket and keep his own defender honest not able to leave him alone out there to double and help on defense.

That's always seems to be a key for a big to getting healthy playing time from D', he likes his bigs to be able to at least hit the mid range shot.... and FTs!

He is closer to a poor man's Brad Miller.

Jort's is smaller, less skilled offensively, and without the great passing.

Bass is tough nosed (IMO one of the stronger and tougher players in the league), has a good mid-range, does the dirty work, is a good defender, and plays hard. I just think he's one of the better comparisons for Jorts.

IMO...not a very good comparison lol...like at all.

He's white. That's where the similarities begin and end.
