Yeah I guess I was too dismissive of it. Damn...

yup. i was saying this last year when he got the injury in the playoffs. i wouldn't be surprised if this stems from that but it wasn't revealed then.

either way, he's probably done for the season. so much for trading him now. his contract probably just became an albatross.

Feel bad for Amar'e -- he was finally getting it back but maybe his body is breaking down at an earlier age. Funny enough not his knees.

We need to see what the doctors say though -- maybe not too bad an injury.

We don't have our 1st rounder this year. lol gets even worse

You get an MRI as a precaution...in order to see if something is wrong. I've gotten MRIs before just to make sure there I wasn't more hurt than the doctors thought I was.

Just when he was starting to really find a groove. Horrible news. This definitely makes our playoff chase tougher.

I guess Knicks should seriously think about throwing out this lineup now:

Melo
Fields
Chandler
Lin
Shump
MIAMI HEAT BAF
G- James Harden
G- Malcolm Brogdon
F- Robert Covington
F- Paul Millsap
C- Dwight Howard
Bench: S. Milton, F. Korkmaz, K. Bazemore, D. Oturu, J. McDaniels, A. Caruso, T. Mann
IR: X. Tillman Sr., J. Nwora, E. Hughes,

This is not surprising....go back to the Bos-NYK series. We KNEW he was fine china. AGAIN, why was Donnie douche bag Walsh THAT crazy to give Amar'e a contract LONGER than Melo's? Don't tell me D'Antoni had no control or wasn't aware...PLEASE.

still think using the amnesty clause on an expiring contract was a smart move by the knicks?

the knicks should've held onto the amnesty clause with amar'e in mind and no one else.

God, no. Last thing I want is us winning the fricking 3rd pick and having to hand it over to whatever team has the rights right now. It's only top 1 protected, and we're not getting that top pick. We don't get that kind of luck.

I still believe we have a good enough team to make the playoffs and make some noise, our Bench has to be huge for us now though.

Maybe...I can't complain about Chandler thus far though. Who knows? It was a good plan.

Hmm really? I thought it was just #1 protected.
