Shumpert anyone?

Shumpert sure turned the season around with that 8-1 winning streak.

Oh wait a min...

Sorry to say but it's looking more & more likely the #Knicks will not match #JeremyLin. Hearing offer "too high/tax" & "what has he proved?"

I find it so sad that people dismiss actual results in a small sample size, but are okay with failure on a large scale.

BTW, I wanted to trade shumpert for terrance ross.

There is a thread that proves it.

Ross has been LIGHTING IT UP. I loved the pick when the Raps made it.

Of course my trade idea dumps Stat too.

But yeah, I think the kid is gonna be real nice for them.

Sucks I have to watch the Raps to see fields and ross.

Weren't there reports that Lin was a bit upset and thought he could get more $ after the initial offer came out.. But reluctantly stuck w the Rockets out of fear they'd lower or he wouldn't get as much in Dallas or wherever else.

The fact that we threw in a second-round pick shows you that Lin is gone.

I know it sounds crazy but it's not. There are little signs here of a team desperate to lock down Felton.

You know when you're desperately trying to get Ray Felton that it's a dark day.

Heat were right to laugh at the Knicks and they'll be able to do a lot more laughing coming up soon.

kg man you've descended into madness.

I'm starting to think there are other motives involved here.

Just let it keep going. He's stealing the show in this thread. I can't stop laughing.

Jared Zwerling: Someone I spoke with who works with a #Knicks player said that Lin could've said #Knicks and no other team early on. But he tested market.

From the guy who endorses Mike D'antoni's coaching prowess.

give Dantoni a break man. Time for you to let it go. He is an Olympic level offense coach

Rockets fan from last thread:

Rockets fan here. We've been talking on Rockets boards and we figured out that Morey planned out stealing Lin from you guys by ramping up the offer sheet from the start. He didn't resign our starting pg, Dragic, and he traded our backup, Lowry, for a draft pick. This was after the Knicks had let it be known that they would match any offer for Lin, so obviously he had his plan in place from now. He knew that the Knicks planned to match any offersheet, so he purposefully negotiated the first one low. This caused the Knicks to make moves with the assumption of a 9mil poison pill in year 3. They signed Novak and Kidd to 3 year deals, and the Rockets even traded them Camby--on a 3 year deal. Only after they were done making moves did Morey ramp up the offer sheet to the dramatically higher 15mil in the third year. The Knicks had not planned for this, and now they had already committed salary, and could no longer match. Had the 15mil poison pill been offered from the start, the Knicks could have still matched, but Morey fooled them.

I still think we match. Just don't understand why we wouldn't.
