F- Perry Jones

C- Hasheem Thabeet

I wanted to put together a young versatile team. Almost all my guys can play 2 and 3 positions which will allow us to match up with big and small teams. McGee and Gordon are the only 2 guys with big contracts. Leonard is my glue guy of the team. Odom is the vet leader and I have 6 rookies on the bench will tons of potential. Eric Bledsoe is my lead guard who I feel is highly under rated on both ends of the floor. Thabeet is Center depth and will likely see spot minutes. Jones is a potential packed beast, Sullinger is our low post threat, Nicholson is an energy big who dunks everything, Waiters is our scorer off the bench, Wroten is a bigger Rondo potentially and Jeffrey Taylor is another glue guy who can D up and knock down the 3 ball. Coach Dunlap will install a legit offensive gameplan to maximize everyone on the team. I hope for a balanced attack ala Denver and a stout defense. I want to run and get good, high percentage shots.

I think this team can make the playoffs and slowly gel and get better.

the Knicks have a young nucleus of players Chandler, Stoudemire, Anthony, Kovak, Shumpert and JR Smith; these players arethe holdovers from last years team. The additions are Ronnie Brewer, Camby, Kidd, Thomas and Felton represent an improve over last years roster with the lost of veterans Lin and Fields. The question is do all these additions and holdovers have the continuity to play as a team and blend their skills and talents to become a strong contender in the Eastern Conference. The critical factor to blend a championship team is the mental toughness and the ability to excute plays at cruical periods in close games. Does this Knick have this ability? Assembling these players will this unit have the savvy and poise to win the tough one and two point games or win in overtime consistently. Or is this going to be the Carmelo and Amar'e show.

JUDGING:

Every GM participating must nominate and rank their top 5 teams in the end for the following categories:

- best offense
- best defense
- best youth
- best win-now
- best salary cap management

Obviously you can't pick your own team. Then we can assign points 1-5 and we can easily crown a winner.

Added incentive: you can't win if you don't do your nominations and rankings.
