TKF wrote:thanks fellas, I know most didn't agree with my views, but first and foremost I will always be a knick fan, and love the knicks, I just didn't think it was fair to be such a sour puss consistently with those of you who really are behind what is going on now.

When I found myself being sucked into arguments and not being able to stop, I realized this was a problem.. posting here was an outlet for me after my mom died in 2001, pretty much the same time I signed up.... It was always fun, and I need to find that joy posting again... taking time off has helped a lot and I plan to take a lot more off..

the forum deserves someone more constructive at this point.... and my family deserves more of my time.....

I will be around, I am pulling for the knicks to kick arse and do well....

again, thanks fellas...

GO KNICKS!

Good for you, man. I hope this allows you to take the gloves off and let everybody know how it really is. One thing I love most about this board is when people with different views are unwilling to back down. Honestly, I never really got into the Keys. What I love is your completely intelligent contrarian viewpoint and bulldog refusal to back down.

Nobody has put up with more idiotic fanboy abuse than you. If anyone deserves a nice happy "retirement..."

Man. First Gallo gets squeezed out by Melo. Then D'Antoni and Lin. Now TKF. What a douche! ;)

HAHA, GOOD ONE MAN... melo is killing everyone, players and fans .....

seriously, I enjoyed it, but I will be around, just not in the same capacity.... gotta spend time with the fam and really getting upset , this upset about the knicks is just not good physically.. real talk...

I hope this current team does well, they are built to at least have a good regular season if anything else...not sure about postseason, but hey, that is why we play the games.... if we get off to a bad start I think the fans are going to do this to MSG and every message board..

TKF is a great poster, glad to see someone stick to his beliefs and not worship every move this team makes.

Good luck with everything man.

is it to soon to blame Melo for this?

you've done great tkf, always kept a level head on discussion and for years i found your insight very great. sure i'm not the greatest poster here, actually i was a dick up until 2 years ago when the knicks gave me a glimmer of hope and filled my heart with joy.

i'm sure when you were first given the title, you didn't expect realgm to still be kicking for 10 years(and in this day, the internet is dominated by everything).

have fun with your free time, not having the burden to be the mediator ... i don't care how some think you turned your back, you just viewed the knicks for the longterm instead of the short term, and i respect that.

Good for you TKF. Now you don't have to hide your true feelings about Melo and company.

I don't think he ever hid his feelings about Melo and co.

Maybe now he doesn't have to hide his feelings about other posters

I'm surprised it took you so long with all of the abuse you've taken on this board, TKF. Always had a lot of respect for your views and always looked forward to reading your posts.

Dude! Your'e name looks weird in black! You were a great Mod, but family comes first and my hat goes off to you for that. Thanks for the time you assisted me in build a team bro. Even though you were mad busy you still took the time to help. Always appreciated that. See you around. Retired Mod.

TKF definitely is as die-hard a Knicks fan as there can be.

We went at it... from the lockout threads to the post trade Melo threads... but what some of you don't know is we've communicated a lot in private where I apologized to a man for how bad the debates got sometimes and for my false sense of optimism when Walsh was hired clouded my overall expectations of the direction the franchise was going.

Anyway... I'm looking forward to blasting people side by side with TKF once the season starts... <<<just kidding (sort of

TKF come on man admit it.. the last few weeks away from regularly posting have been peaceful for you... I know they have for me. I've gotten into maybe 1 or 2 debates the last couple of months and that's been good for me.

BTW... thanks for being as lenient with me as I've ever seen a moderator be.

I just go by what I've seen in my minuscule time posting here but good riddance.

I used to visit this forum after games to read TKF's keys before any NBA.com/ESPN.com type recap. TKF, you cut to the core and tell it like it is... and damnit, I respect you.

This is my forecast of how things go down:

Long time lurker, never post. I would log in after most every game to get TKF's take in his Keys. Agreed with the bulk of your perspectives, TKF.

Even though I think NYC had to get Melo... NYC is just that way... I completely understand/stood the frustration.

I hope you continue to post on a regular basis. I have learned some about the game from you. Thanks.

So he finally moved the Denver board? :D

Always enjoyed your keys (before they became a battler-ground) and were one of the reasons I got hooked on this site as a lurker and eventually a poster.

Only reason I haven't left is because of the 6 figure salary and all the female RGM groupies (the one's without the side burns and hairlips actually can get quite cute...at times).

you are (were) my favorite Mod TKF. Loved that someone else on here knew something about boxing. Also, we shared the same views on the knicks direction.

I know you're still be around, but your Keys to the Game is what started me to become more active in the Knicks Forum. so essentially, you're a big reason i am around so often to piss others off

thank you TKF, and good luck. I'm glad to see someone in this world as their priorities straight.
