That's what these forums are about... Americans bitch and moan about freedom of speech all the damn time... but in reality they're too damn sensitive to handle it. Anyone can talk about anything to me... I'm not going to turn blue and throw a tantrum. The Lin thread thread would have eventually died on it's own.... talking about Lin will eventually die on it's own on this forum.. when was the last time you heard anyone even breathe the name Wilson Chandler? This argument about "if you don't like the thread, don't post in it" would work so much better if I can hide certain threads.

Seeing that Lin thread at the top of the forum on a regular basis just serves as a constant reminder of something I am tired of seeing. I haven't posted in it lately because doing so helps keep it bumped.

I liked Lin. I wish we still had him but I am ready to move on to the next chapter of this franchise. If Lin turns out to be real good, it will suck but what can we do? He's a Rocket now. At this point, what has been said, has been said so many times that it's a broken record. And now that the regular season is approaching, EVERY thing Lin does will be magnified to the point where I wonder if this place will still be readable. I don't want to see a Lin this or Lin that thread...smh

As for the OP seeing Lin tomorrow, that's real cool. I never met a celebrity up close so I hope you have a great experience.

Hey all, So I moved to texas (from michigan) for my masters degree. Just started actually. Anywho, Houston Rockets and Jeremy Lin are practicing at our gym tomorrow. Now I dont know how this is gonna work but yeah, I get to see him tomorrow after my cadaver lab! So excited!
