He's one of the main reasons we're 21-9 right now. We don't get those quality wins in Miami and SA without him, too.

He's contributed to our success but he is not a great pg.

That was well put my thoughts exactly.

Lin would definitely make Knicks a legit contender.

The way he was playing pre-injury was great, and even during injury he played well. We tend to really look at his FG% and think he's a chucker and all, but a lot of his misses end up being tip-outs and put-backs for Chandler. For example, Felton went 3-19 against Brooklyn but look at how many points Chandler had in that game.

Anyway, I don't want to argue this since its more of an opinion thing. There are a lot of great PGs in the league, no reason given the way Felton is playing he can't be called one.

@rza Knicks already are a legit contender.

Felton is not a great PG. A great PG doesn't shoot 3 shots after hurting his pinky.

We could probably get Chris Paul to sign for the minimum in the offseason. He said he would enjoy playing in New York. If not, send over Copeland + 2 2nd round picks in a trade. We don't really need those anyway.

Even though this thread is dumb I'm not sure how you don't go with Rondo. He is easily the healthiest and most consistent with the best defense by a country mile. A Rondo/Shump backcourt is probably the best defensive backcourt in the league by a good distance. Plus the good thing about Rondo is that he knows his job. He creates shots for others. Period. You rarely ever see him trying to play hero ball. Hell, Hopla might even be able to make him a halfway decent shooter and improve his free throw percentage. Now there's no way for us to get him but he would improve this team more than anyone else on that list.

Chris Paul is going to give up 95 million dollars or so to play in New York.

Kyle Lowry. If you could trade Felton and a future 1 for him you have to strongly consider it.

CJ McCollum or Isaiah Canaan would do just fine for me

He's averaging 21.2 points...while shooting 39% from the field.
Meaning he's chucking up a lot of shots to get those points.

His TOs are still way too high for a PG and his assists average isn't that impressive when he has Durant/Ibaka/K-Mart to pass to.

I'm going to use this random thread to mention that one guy I'd love for us to sign somehow in the future is Ricky Rubio. I could see him develop into an icon here in NY, provided he gets his game back after his injury, which I don't doubt. Such a special PG, and I remember him dying to be drafted by the Knicks back then.

Anyway, Ray Ray is our guy for now and I'm happy with that.

I'd love to get Lin here, but we don't have what it takes to get a PG of that caliber...
