We need a third team to take Chandler for this to work. Maybe the Bucks or Hawks?

Find Chris Paul some major endorsements give him a 3 year deal for the mini-MLE then max him out after, other than that its hard to find something other then Raymond and STAT for Chris Paul

Hes not coming. Only way it happens is if someone takes a risk on Tyson or Stat. Can't see it happening.

Re: Alan Hahn: It is possible to bring in Chris Paul
Can we take the "Carmelo Anthony" approach and look at CP3's playoff failure(s) as a way of stating that, he's an overrated hype machine who'll NEVER have what it takes to get it done? Or, is that posting style and/or approach only reserved for current Knicks?
Yea, I'm being sarcastic but maybe it's time for myself to become a new type of fan/poster. Maybe it's my turn to treat other players as career losers due to never getting it done. Maybe I should begin to harp all over players such as CP3 while pouncing all over his playoff exits. Maybe I should become that type of negative critic who corrects everyone when talking up a certain player?
Maybe I'm tripping. Maybe I'm bugging. But maybe it's easier to harp all over specific players failures instead of supporting their actual talents/meaning. What will Chris Paul give the Knicks? Other than another early playoff exit? Don't say anything different, because he's yet to do it.

CP3? Two rotten knees, day-1 in NY "out indefinitely". No thanks.

If I'm the Clippers, I can't see why I would want Chandler over Jordan, especially if Paul is gone. If Paul walks, you return to rebuilding mode - and go as young as possible.

Sundov wrote:If Melo and Amare sit Paul down and say 'Miami will win the next 5 rings if we dont' team up" CP3 might go the Clippers front office and demand a trade. Say he tells them "Trade me to the knicks or I will leave for nothing". Clips could get Shump, Chandler, Felton, Novak for CP3 and Deandre Jordan. A bad trade for the Clips but far better than nothing. Shump can be a starting 3 on a championship team. With Bledsoe and Griffin they can rebuild with a nice young trio.
Hey buddy...thanks for posting some of the most stupid **** I've ever seen...gave me a great laugh. If you let CP3 walk, you are in much better shape to buy talent than what you suggest they would get in a trade for the Knicks. TC is worthless at this point considering his contract, he's not Amare bad...but the fact that you have two stiffs who are heavily, heavily overpaid is crippling. Raymond Felton is hollow numbers....guy just doesn't lead his teams to wins consistantly like a quality vet should. Novak is my favorite though....one trick pony, who I'm sorry....just by stature looks like the biggest pussy in the league, now entering the back spasm spark of his career and the guy gets paid 4 a year?! HA....Shumpert is a good prospect, but his high end is Tony Allen...which is great, but why would I take on all that trash to get a young Tony Allen, let alone for the best PG in the game?

If Paul goes, you still have Bledsoe and Billups and Jamal Crawford. The idea is the Blake Griffin is a franchise player. Shump basically broke out this post-season and could be viewed as an electric back court mate for Bledsoe. The only real issue is Ray Felton. His career indicates that he is not a back up in his mind/heart.
I'd love to get DJ from the Clips, but I agree it is not likely.
What probably is more likely is Chandler/Felton being dealt to a team in need of filled spots. IDK if a double s n t is possible, but theoretically Hawks might be interested in Josh Smith for Chandler, Felton after this last season. They could then pair Chandler with Horford, look to sign a small forward (Copeland?) re-up teague and run him with Felton in the back court.

Re: Alan Hahn: It is possible to bring in Chris Paul
People always looking for the next savior...SMDH...never learn...odds are that CP3 gets here and both his knees start barking...NEWSFLASH...
- Keep your kids and develop them
- PLEASE VALUE YOUR DRAFT PICKS -- Think about how fun it is to watch Shump grow...
- make sensible signing within budget to fill holes/specialist...
Guys this approach that has been tried for the last 15 years DOESN'T WORK...not here...rebuild it the right way, accumulate assets over the next 2 years as Amare comes off the books with the rest of the old fossils.

this is why the nba is semi-retarded. this could actually happen.
I dunno.
