We're slowly becoming the Utah Jazz of the East
"Yeah, you are. You right, bro" - Joe Dumars telling every PG on the roster they are starting.

CDR had a reputation of being a pain in the ass and hard to deal with. He wasn't good enough and/or in the right situation for the bad to be ignored because of the good.

Re: Knicks Waive Brownlee, Sign CDR
CDR's awkward and his offensive moves aren't pretty but he has a knack of getting the ball in the basket any which way.

He stunk it up in summer league. This is playing against rookies and bench warmers.

with steve mills saying the knicks will be going the sabermetrics route, CDR only needs to be good at what the knicks think they lack.

Possibly along those lines. CDR is talented. He's a very diverse offensive player. He just needs to learn to not be an ass and to play within the flow of the team concept.

Re: Knicks Waive Brownlee, Sign CDR
Pretty interesting in who's going to get the last 3 spots and actually make the team. I would keep Aldrich & Tyler just to keep some size in the frontcourt because I don't trust a FULL season of Amare or Kenyon to stay healthy AT ALL. IMO CJ Leslie is getting cut so the last spot might boil down to CDR vs. Murry UNLESS... a trade is in the works (which I can't see anyone being eligible to trade right now except Amare and no one wants him).
It would be kind of f***ked up if CDR gets Toure's spot because he talked about why he signed and accepted the Knicks camp invite; he said it was loyalty. TMurry said after game 2, Woodson came up to him and said he wanted him in NYK's training camp. TMurry ultimately chose NYK over MIA's training camp. Woody likes defense so Murry has a GOOD shot in making the team over CDR.
01 - Melo
02 - Tyson Chandler
03 - Amare
04 - JR Smith
05 - Andrea Bargnani
06 - Ray Felton
07 - Iman Shumpert
08 - Pablo Priginoni
09 - Tim Hardaway, Jr.
10 - Metta World Peace
11 - Kenyon Martin
12 - Beno Udrich
13 - Jeremy Tyler
14 - Cole Aldrich
15 - Toure Murry
16 - CDR
17 - CJ Leslie

One hell of a Battle Royal among all the Training Camp invitees. Who will make the team?!

Can't we just have Swish as "Active" even though he's injured and have the suspension days go against when he is injured?

CDR can actually score though, I don't know why he hasn't found a home in the league.

seems like a no brainer to me..surprised he was available.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

Re: Knicks Waive Brownlee, Sign CDR
i think tyler gets cut cause of his injury, and possibly even CJ leslie. final two spots go to CDR and either aldrich or diogu.

Re: Knicks Waive Brownlee, Sign CDR
I dont think CDR will beat anyone out for a spot on the team
the only thing I could see is us waiving Tyler with the understanding that hes coming back once hes fully healed
we keep CDR and waive him when Tyler is healthy
but thats a long long long shot
I think CDR is a third unit player on a team where starter quality guys have to come off the bench

yeah definitely. but i think he can also play without the ball, yet, can be a play maker. if i recall correctly, he did a lot of ball handling in college while playing with d. rose, ad some in NJ early in his career.
