I just read Growth of the Soil by Knut Hamsun. I really like Scandinavia.

If you liked the NDS Cosmos run, try

It's a great read if you're into science and how it developed over time.

I have to recommend you a quality book.

http://www.amazon.com/BLACK-SOUL-Ahmet-M-Rahmanovic/dp/1450040640

This book, unlike any others, gives a face to all the actors in the Bosnian tragedy. In gripping war-action thriller, Rahmanovic takes readers from the battle-torn hills of Sarajevo to the streets of Chicago, where one man journeys to find new meaning in his life. Can he escape the horrors of memory in a foreign land, or will it continue to haunt him?

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7827028-black-soul

Great book about guy who will end up in Chicago during the war in Yugoslavia.

sadly it gets less interesting as it goes

peaks in hell

but truly a seminal and brilliant work that, more than anything, changed the modern western idea of the afterlife

Reading the kids Harry Potter too. A chapter a night, now on the 5th book. Boy does that series fall apart. Might switch to the Hobbit or Narnia soon.

Also like the Illiad a whole lot as well as Beowulf. Not the easiest things to read but something about it just makes it really more interesting to me.
