Because he's not likely available? Took Fox out for the same reason. They're in the miracles category.

fam... at least 80 percent of the mocks have us taking smith
he's not completely out of the picture.

I don't know why all the mocks have him dropping to us when he seems to only be working out for teams in the top 6. Don't sites like draftexpress and nbadraft.net get their info from scouts or are they just throwing shi.t against a wall like we do

With the 8th pick, the New York Knicks are definitely going to get an impact player even IF every team before them picks the best player available. I have no worries. The Knicks are going to either get an awesome scoring shooting guard or an awesome point guard. All things being equal, kind of pulling for a point guard who can play both ends but I'll be happy either way.

Now IF Phil can score Portland's first rounder...that's icing.

The second round will be the most interesting because this is where the Knicks have an opportunity to add "developmental" players who can provide depth in 2-3 seasons.

Wingspan of 6'10

His size is fine, even good with that wingspan.

More concerned about his inefficiency and inconsistency on offense. Personally I would take Frank over him if we are going defensive guard.

I think basketball-wise they're pretty equal as prospects. I'd give the nod to Frank because his measurables are slightly better and as a raw mold I think his ceiling might be slightly higher. But I like Mitchell as being a slightly safer bet because his body is already ready for the NBA whereas Frank is still very skinny and weak up top.. I wouldn't be shocked if Mitchell is Dallas's back up plan for Frank.

I'm pretty sure DX doesn't take team needs or rumors into account with their mocks until really close to the draft. (Don't know if the cut off is now or not). Don't know about the rest.

Yeah as good of an athlete he is, I'm calling major BS on that supposed 48" vert. There's no video proof; I'm skeptical. Don't doubt he can jump 40+" though.

Also, his torn ACL could be a red flag.

Teams aren't taking him over Fultz, Ball, Jackson. Do you pass on Tatum and Fox to pick DSJR? I don't see him going top 5. There's definitely a chance he's available at 7-9.

Someone just put out a tweet i think yesterday that Frank has a grown man's body now. I can't remember who the tweet was from but it was posted in the draft thread.

I'm just wondering...if the Knicks draft Frank will they BOO him like they did Porzingis?

I mean, according to Draymond Green Euro ballers are forcing US Ballers to send their kids to school without shoes.

Josh Jackson has been promised - has worked out for Lakers in LA. Has not worked out for Phoenix yet. It could be Philly but likely Lakers.

Just after the lottery, I was lukewarm on Frank. Then I saw his recent pic. Good lord, what has he been eating? WHO has he been eating?

THAT is not the same kid, NBAdraft.net was putting on their videos of strengths and weaknesses...

There's a reason why Donnie Nelson and Cuban WANT the Knicks to pass on him.

IF the Knicks take Dennis Smith Jr, I'll be content but there's no way the Knicks should pass up on Frank IF Dennis is taken.
