Re: Phil can GTFO now (he's wiling to deal KP) part II
Just read that rosen article on KP. He (Rosen/Pjax) pointed out his increased numbers and overall great potential as a franchise player, also his dedication to developing strength this offseason but the bulk of that piece is justifying a potential trade due to attitude. KP isn't even Cuzins or JR smith level of problematic attitude. Hell, a simple talk between the two (Jax and KP) is all you need to clear things up.
Phil's draconian regime prevents proper conversation between two adults and instead have this proxy war that targets a player's character through media and newsletters.
Rosen aptly put it as KP not yet prepared for "NBA politics". Sadly, Pjax and company, the people who should protect KP from these mental draining politics and push his basketball development instead, are the ones that forced him in the game.

Dudes envied the 6ers and now mad we about to be the sixers regarding picks/rebuild.
I root for the front of the jersey. Let's go Knicks!!
I agree. I hate divas. I want a team full of hungry killers. Whenever I played pick up I always went for players that love the game and hate losing. You get urself some guys thats willing to shovel snow on the local outdoor court to play. Forget the guy that's whinying to play indoor.
Our guy Phil is using constantly evading the media, and uses twitter to trash his players, and KP is the diva? Wanting to win has nothing with being fully committed to the disfunction in this franchise.

Phil's last decent deed will be to turn the one asset the Knicks have (besides WHG) into 2 assets, a young player and a high pick. 3 young guys to move forward with while the team sucks complete ass this year and gets player #4.
76'ers style! Keep churning!
It's all I keep thinking that this is something Hinkie would do. Selling high on KP before he "falls apart."
Except past history on trades doesn't give me confidence that he would sell high. One high pick and a decent role player wouldn't be selling high for Porzingis unless you think he is as good as Michael Carter Williams was when he got traded.
I have no faith in Phil at all but if he asked PHX for Booker and their pick that's a huge asking price. I don't think he's even trying to trade KP. Phil still needs to GTFOH!!!!!
I'm apart of a Knicks podcast! You Should check it out!

I hear you.
Can you imagine Janis coming into Phil's office after responding to his call for a chat. Janis must have gotten another azzhole ripped into him...lol
Janis: " Hey Phil, KP is upset"

But Rosen and Phil are correct. Phil and Melo are having a tug of war in terms of playing style and direction, KP decided that his status is high enough to show his displeasure and back Melo. Wait what? Since when does KP carry Melo's lunch bag, while getting paid millions by New York.
His employer is not Melo, Melo one day will retire and go off into the sunset with whomever he's with.
KP will have to carry his own school bag then, he should learn the politics of the locker room and his place as leader on the team.
If I were him, KP should actually use Derek Jeter as a role model, not Carmelo Anthony.

Dudes will be here in november rooting for the "front of the jersey" and avatars all around for some bum undrafted dude.

Put it this way -- if Phil really intended to trade KP, would he really be negotiating the terms of that deal in the media? Nah.

They obviously don't care about players being healthy either.

I changed it because I liked it. I would change it again, but I'm out of switches...although I was thinking of asking to see if I can change it again. You're taking the avatar and name thing too seriously, dude.
Honestly, if Phil trades KP and stays, we will see what happens with me. Phil is a major issue for me. I'll still be a fan...but this is a HUGE issue for me...that's all I'll say. It has less to do with KP and a lot more to do with Phil running this franchise into the ground.
People who support Phil are putting **** FO executives ahead of players. They think he's more important than the future, even though he's done nothing to deserve any respect from us.

Honestly skipping the exit interview was dumb and immature of KP. What's annoyed me even more is the corny Snapchat and instagram posts he's made. That's some Melo **** man. Neither of those are good enough reasons to look to trade him. But fielding calls for him is fine. Trade him before the injuries begin to ruin him. It's a gamble but if you can get a nice package go for it.

Hard to say he's running the franchise to the ground when we have Willy, KP and all our picks. Until he trades KP for trash I'll agree with you. But he hasn't done anything franchise damaging yet. That's a premature statement.

Re: Phil can GTFO now (he's wiling to deal KP) part II
I think Phil is not really serious about trading KP (non-sensically huge demands). He just wants to get a rise out of KP, which is normal Phil behavior.
