Phil was asleep the whole time. He only woke up to sign KP,Frank,Willy,Dotson and Lee. He was also asleep when he got O'Quinn.

He struck gold with one euro and decided to role the dice again. It's going to be a slow process... question is how patient are the knicks waiting around with a ready to win now porzingis? i can see him coming off the bench for awhile while the knicks seek an experienced younger point guard than jack then hand the keys over to frank when he's older.

schroder is 24 and just now running the ATL offense.

KP shouldn't be thought of as a win now player. He's 22, and still developing. Michael Jordan at 22 wasn't even a win now player. That's just a ridiculous standard to set.

Of course Knicks fans expect Knicks to select best guy available and absolutely nail pick every time. Not realistic.

you have to start surrounding him with the proper pieces. we did a good job trading melo away and getting younger.. but we are younger with not so much talent outside of porzingis/hardaway/kanter and an extremely raw ntilkina.

Kp has stated he wants to remain in new york but winning is most important.

Apparently, Jaramaz became very ill right after summer league. Went to NY and was diagnosed with an undisclosed ailment and was under treatment at a NY Hospital. Jaramaz is not playing in Europe this year or anywhere. Regarding his overall health and outlook, absolutely no news.

The Jazz got him because Quin Snyder doesn't sleep for weeks at a time.

Mitchell was way more talented than Frank, not sure how some people even tried debating that, but Frank was never taken for who he was rather for what he could be (potential). Since that's the case, people need to be patient with the kid and give him time. But yeah, Mitchell was my dude and still is. It is what it is though. I still like the Frank pick.

I liked Mitchell but he had too many flaws to be a top 10 pick and not a high enough ceiling in my opinion. Smith or Frank was and should have been the debate at that point.

Jack and Sessions were bought on to mentor Frank, Donovan isn't a pg so that signing would've made no sense

I disagree. Mitchell absolutely belonged in the convo and he's proving now why
