If they take Barrett, they take Barrett. tf we gonna do? it doesn't matter either way. Are we like building RJ Barrett shrines or some ****? Wanna make sure you're watching YT on the right guy? Is this why?

Not a fan of Knox and rj pairing. The defense and the chucking would make you turn the game off

We are heading towards if the Knicks don't draft RJ they are getting booed out of the building. I'm keeping the possibility open they see something in one of these other kids and pull the Knicks draft pick switcheroo on us again.

Since there is not much to talk about besides trading for AD or keeping Barrett i have decided to come up with RJ Barrett trash talk jokes. ok here it is.

RJ is going to drop 40 on you and there is nothing you can do about it, you will just have to grin and Barrett.

so yay or nay  and if its nay then you try and come up with something better lol.

this is great news, do it pills!

Before the unveiling of the lottery results, some scouts and personnel execs said that if the Hawks had won the No. 2 pick, they would focus on wing Jarrett Culver - and that the Cavaliers might have done the same, passing on outstanding guards Ja Morant and RJ Barrett.

Rumors have even cropped up about the Knicks considering Culver over Barrett with the No. 3 pick. At the least, the Knicks will weigh the option.

they are both young and have the typical lack of defensive intensity at this stage

however they seem to compliment each other well

both are strong, or better than strong, in transition
both can rebound and push the ball right up court
both can spread the floor or make a pass

but yes the major difference is that Knox is better catching and shooting where RJ is better with the ball in his hands

I think they will be fine together

it depends on your ambition

if its a championship team were building then neither guy is a difference maker
if its developing talent and youth then they are a solid pairing

it's not an awful pairing since knox shot the three respectably but it's not great either.

RJ needs shooters around him.

If RJ is our primary playmaker, we have bigger issues.

So we finally get a top 3 pick in a 3 man draft but trade down in a weak draft for 8 & 10?

Simply calling it a 3 man draft doesn't mean that the three guys are all worth building around.

If RJ is our primary playmaker, we have bigger issues.

There isn’t a lot of reason to think he will be

If we strike out I’d still expect to see dsj starting at the 1

That trio is a very speedy and athletic one
We could play some effective uptempo offense with them and Mitch

RJ better not be our primary ball handler but the fact that he has that skill and continues to improve that skill, as he improved it at duke over the season, is a positive for us

Once again if we strike out then we have the cap and lesser assets to build something nice moving forward in a youth movement. It’s gonna be a top of the lottery situation again but that’s better than bad contracts.

I could see Chi getting desperate to move some salary or the clips being desperate to do so. Either team could give up a pick to move a player. Etc

they're not taking rj but if they did take garland or make a move back for him. sure it will be a bad fit with kyrie here but i'd bet a year from now his trade value will be higher than culver, hunter, etc.

I'm not even sure what signals that Barrett will be significantly better than Rodney Hood, let alone Kobe.
