True. I do think he’ll get stronger and I honestly think he looks taller than Trae even though they are listed very similarly. It would be fun to see him with any combo of Frank and RJ. All 3 could handle the ball and not be content sitting along the 3 pt arc. RJ and Frank are solid defensively at least (Frank being very good and RJ was a very pleasant surprise on that end I thought). Then have a rim protector like Mitch. Tyrell would be a liability on defense for sure but he’s incredibly smart and I think will become “more” serviceable on that end. He would do wonders for the spacing on this team

a little more positional versatility because he has an NBA body. His knock is that he would be two years older than Terry. But he shot 44% on high volume...nearly making 3 3's per game. He is also someone that can put the ball on the floor and has pretty good vision.

I’ve heard about him. I need to look into him and Nesmith. I’ve been behind the curve with my “scouting” if you can call it that :lol:

. I need to check out Vassell from Florida State as well. I’m trying to go through the PGs currently because that’s what I feel like we will do even though I say take BPA and could always move up a bit with our second 1st for someone like Mannion, Terry, etc if we miss on Lamelo.

We desperately need shooters so I’ll be all for adding one or two. I would love a stretch 4 whether it’s someone like Deni improving his shot or someone else in the draft or FA

There was a LaMelo vs Edwards poll a few months ago and Edwards was winning that poll i think

Ball would be my #1 by far

Vassell and Nesmith are very likely lottery picks so I kinda don't put them in the same category (I'm not sure we would pick either in the top 7 or 8) they might go right after then though.. Bane is more in our range plus or minus around 27.

Yea, I would expect LaMelo to be the huge favorite at #1. The debate will get much more interesting over the next few days. I dont think any other pick will be that straight forward

I’d hate to be the GM that has to make the #1 pick in this draft

Assuming lamelo, Edwards and wiseman are the top 3 going into the draft I think I rather just have the 3rd pick and take who ever is left. I’d still feel like we came out with the best talent in the draft.

your not wrong. It kinda sometimes plays out the way it should and the team kinda just picks the best guy on there board. Sometimes you can overthink a pick if there are 2-3 closely rated.

Lot more pressure in making that decision. In the knicks case where they have been desperate for a PG I think its a bit of an easier choice. Other teams not so much.

i want lamelo or edwards. if we get 3rd i'll be praying someone takes wiseman 1 or 2. but nobody will.
