Woj Bomb...

The Golden State Warriors and Russell Westbrook have parted ways. Westbrook and GM NewEra had dinner last night to discuss the future. Westbrook expressed his gratitude towards the organization, but desire to move back out East to be closer to family. NewEra, known for his great GM/Player relationship, then made a call and around 1AM Russell was dealt.

We caught up with NE this morning...”Russ is a champion. Finals MVP. He’s a phenomenal player, and just a great all around guy if you get to know him. Family is important, and after all he’s done for us, we wanted to honor that. We wish him all the best. We’re extremely fortunate to have gotten the return we did, and are excited about the future.”

my guess its either some package around RW for Ben Simmons (Brooklyn) or RW for Jimmy Butler (Orlando)

Still not out of the question. I wouldn't want to spend that much on him. I still have enough money to spend to get him within my own budget. If he goes for more than that, so be it.
