But the videos shows 95% power dunks, something Mitch already does -and probably more explosively , I saw enough of the other stuff where i can't discount his growth potential but not nearly enough to be fully convinced...

The vid def isn’t 95% just dunks lol

I count:
39 dunks
5 Jumpers
3 Layups
2 blocks

So out of the 49 sequences:
~80% were dunks
10% percent were jumpers
4% were Blocks

That said I like the kid, his ceiling is pretty damn high , I just didn't see enough to be convinced he will 100% fulfill it...but I'm not unconvinced either..just straddling the fence....

He’s gonna be a mismatch for every big in the league. Can shoot over everyone, unblockable fadeaway, can put the ball on the floor, create separation off the dribble, glimpses of a low post game... :o

In a vacuum, I like Wiseman, lots of talent for a big man and he should be at the top of the lottery. However, the value of a center has dropped so much in the NBA, it's hard to say Wiseman is the third best player available in today's draft. I might even argue Okongwu has more value given his mobility, even if he's nowhere near a Bam.
This was a tough one, but I have to go Obi Toppin at the three spot. Just too much offensive talent and versatility there, and I think there's still room to grow as he keeps improving his jumper and ball handling.

I voted Wiseman, but the draft is pretty thin and Toppin does seem like good pick a little lower (4-7) in a usual year, so I can rate that vote here. Hayes voters are obviously delusional. (See last night's thread.)

It was dunk dominated :) - But, yeah, I think you had the counts close to right. Otoh, it's a highlight reel.Who knows how representative that is of real life?

I'm voting for him here, but he certainly can't "shoot over everyone" or be "unblockable fadeaway" - what are Mitch and KP (just to name current/recent Knicks) going to be able to do?

I voted for Wiseman.

I actually do think Wiseman is getting a bad rap from folks buying too much into the negative press that Wiseman has gotten.

I do believe that had he not been suspended and had the season run its course Wiseman likely would have won the Wooden Award (that's the award that goes to the best player in college basketball).

I see quite a bit more in Wiseman than just another Mitch Robinson. Guys that think all Wiseman is is a rim runner? Lol I dont know what to tell you...get glasses maybe?

Wiseman looked like a man amongst boys for stretches the few games he played with Memphis and that's with the distractions swirling about eligibility and questions about how much of a none alpha he was.

NBA not for bigs? The NBA is for dominant talent and Wiseman has a boatload of talent and more upside than anyone in this draft.

Have said this before. The Knicks need high end talent, they need BPA. It doesnt matter that they have Mitch Robinson.

And no melo didn't pay me to pick Wiseman here lol. It's my honest opinion that Wiseman is the best option here. I also considered Okongwu and Hayes, the other 2 guys that make my tier 1 players.

And yes...I have 5 players ranked as Tier 1. These are the 5 players that I think can become significant impact players in the NBA. And yes...of course the Knicks are currently slotted right outside of that first tier with the 6th pick lol.

I also nominate that Devin Vassell be added as the next player to the list.

Wiseman not even being the #3 in our big board is why we don’t deserve good things.

I voted Wiseman. Why? Simply because I don't wan't Hayes to the Knicks. Wasting one french PG's talent is enough :p

Voted for Other (Vassell).
He can defend, he can shoot, aggressive and intelligent, always plays hard, doesnt need the ball in his hands. Perfect fit between Mitch and RJ.
I dont think anyone will climb up to take Hayes, Toppin or Wisemen, pay us extra 1st (20 or 21).

well at least you can say you are not alone in people liking wiseman. Having him in the top 3 is giving him plenty of respect. He's in my top 5 we just have Mitch and unless the shot comes in for him big time I don't really see the difference in investing in another big for the Knicks.

I think the Wiseman gang is pretty strong. I just think people see Mitch as our best young player that is developing into a big impact player and people would rather invest our pick somewhere else.

If you were a team that already had a good guard I could see Wiseman going as high as 1 or 2.

Obi Toppin has the vibe of a journey man big who will play for 7-9 teams throughout his career.
