True - the losses agains the Mavs and TWolves really sucked. Then again, did you expect the Knicks to beat the Lakers?

They need this win though.

I thought a while ago that these games against the teams that are more or less like the Knicks, talent/record wise, after the all star break, would decide their season.

And I didn't look at each and every team, but the ones where there were multiple games, so Wizards, Mavericks, Pelicans, Grizzlies & Hawks, though I think there is only 1 Hawks game after the AS break.

Meaning, games against the Lakers, Clippers, 76'ers, Bucks sort of penciled in as sure losses and Pistons, TWolves as sure wins.

And how they fared in the 9 games against teams kind of like them would mean the difference between out of the playoffs, in the playoffs or in the play in.

There's very little to criticize about what Randle has done or said this season but when asked about scoreboard watching the answer I want to hear is 'the only scoreboard to watch is our own because that's the only one we can impact'.....again, I'm not criticizing him over it, it's just preference.

I know that might be the expected answer but it's also the one that tells me they are focusing exactly where it needs to be, on what they can do to get to the promised land. This team is so close to proving all the doubters wrong in a huge way so don't get distracted by what they have no influence over.

Looking at it more closely, if we do face Miami it would just be one of a double elimination tourney. So basically we can't lose two in a row to some combination of Charlotte, Miami, Indiana, Chicago, Washington, or Toronto. That makes me feel a little better, but would rather not be in any position to deal with Jimmy Butler. At least we don't have to deal with 40 PPG Curry though.

Or the two Bucks wins the blowout early and then the game where the bucks sat everyone, or the game to Memphis trailing by double digits late, and then even Sunday’s win had no reason for winning

sounds like the goal is for this team to get the #4 seed...this is a game they have to win if they want to accomplish that.

don't worry. he will get vet minimum for quite some time just to do this. it's brilliant. because he could be NOT doing this and NOT in the league.

though, sometimes a player of his caliber can get a little more money in europe... you still have to go to europe. pinson isn't going to find himself in a josh childress kind of situation.

it's attainable. but as far as Ws and Ls, we're beyond playing with house money. i've promised myself i'm not going to trip. who thought we'd get 30 wins for the whole season, let alone have the potential to be a 40-win team?

yep. i looked through the schedule and saw like 4 ouch Ls... but we have the wins to balance them out. and the overall record is what matters. can't look back and turn to salt. pa'lante, papa.
