I'm 35 years old, but didn't watch much basketball as a kid in the 90s. I became a basketball fan because of Iverson, and somehow became a diehard Knicks fan during the Isiah years. What made me hate the Bulls and their fans over on the RealGM Bulls board was the Eddy Curry trade, and the subsequent Knicks draft pick watch threads they had over there. Not to mention all of the success those teams had and the suffering the Knicks franchise endured simultaneously, largely because of that trade.

I'll always find great joy in watching the Knicks beat the Bulls, and will relish the moment when the Knicks take a higher seed this season, and possibly a playoff series win over Chicago in the spring.

That being said, Rose was always my favorite non-Knick as a Bull, always respected those gritty teams and still rooted for them over LeBron and Celtics, and the fans on that board are generally pretty smart and respectable people. So good luck, fellas (and ladies, if there are any Chi-town Greenies lurking). May the best team win tomorrow night.

The Bulls really a midrange team, we need to invade their space and make them take difficult shots.

Feels like the perfect storm for our defense to suffocate them. They can’t space the floor and stretch us (pause) like most NBA offenses can

Mitch is gonna **** them up.

On our side, we need to get to the cup more. The only increase for us is the Mitch/Obi dunk spot.

we'll have to revisist this because the bulls are a team of non defenders and teams that don't play defense eventually lose games.

They have some bad defenders but also some very good ones in Williams, Caruso, and Ball. Early returns but their perimeter D is among the best in the league.

The Bulls have a little bit of success and the media talks about them as if they are contenders. The Knicks have success and they are overlooked.

Per Wiretap, Lavine has injured his thumb. He "hopes" to play through the pain of the torn ligament on Thursday. :o
