IQ didn't even shoot well but was more productive then Kemba has been all year.

Burks deserves the game ball he was big time this game

Trade Randle as is the theme before and after every game

RJ and Obi are very good in transition, play them more together

Grimes is a pest on defense. Quickly was great defensively too although his chucking didn't produce much this game, still like the energy and effort on defense

Robinson is absolute trash. Trade him with Randle

As I said… we need to waive Walker… only way we’ll be an improved team over last season.

Nice to get a W wherein Julius shot 3-14 from the field.

I’ve said this from day 1, you must win ugly with thibs as your coach, the uglier the better, and tonight’s 4th was ugly offense just how thibs loves it, and sure enough a W

letting randle walk the ball up and play iso or play post on a guard switch = bad basketball

Julius is only able to do that nonsense with Kemba. When he's on the court with Derrick or IQ he has to play at their pace or they don't pass the ball to him.

GONYK wrote:The team came to play tonight and we saw the reason we prioritized perimeter playmakers.

Burks did a phenomenal job against Trae on both ends.

We ran things through our guards and it looked pretty damn good.

IQ looking like a stud. On both ends.

Julius stayed within the flow and stayed mostly locked in on D.

RJ and Evan rounded out strong perimeter play. Fournier with a bunch of momentum saving 3's.

PHENOMENAL DEFENSE

Tom, it may be time to have that talk about about Kemba.

uhm, IQ was 1-7 from 3 - - 4 for 14. Nice defense however.

The Knicks are a better team when Randle trusts his teammates to make the plays. No more hero ball. Just ball movement, bring the energy. You saw Julius was getting boards and getting his points that way. He didn't have the numbers but he played winning ball.
