Basically. Also players don't only develop on the court. On the court is where they show the fruits of that progression. The real work is done in practice. If Thibs ain't seeing enough in practice I trust him on that.

Y'all keep acting like Thibs ain't proven when it comes to developing young guys. Maybe you need to see Jimmy Butler's rookie season gamelogs...

We just don't have PT available for Deuce because we're grooming Burks to be the next Magic Johnson and to do so he needs 48 minutes a game

- Cheers on his teammates on the bench. Check

- Showed out in 36 minutes on the road @Houston 15 pts, 9 ast, 4 rbs, 4 steals in his first ever real minutes. Last was after a solid 20 minutes against GS. Check

Then u say he's not better than anyone ahead of him LOL based on what? His defense ALONE warrants playing over ANY of them and that includes quick. The fact that he has play making ability only adds to it.

As has been stated, considering what we have at PG right now, all the weak ass arguments against playing Deuce are completely rediculous. In what universe should a journeyman like Alex Burks should play 35 minutes out of position and McBride be a DNP???

It’s definitely more than just that lol. Thibs didn’t even let Kemba run the point so starting Deuce wouldn’t have added pressure for him to run anything. Randle is the point guard in the first unit.

Unfortunately I don't see Deuce getting any real playing time until we are mathematically eliminated from play-in contention. I hope I'm wrong because I believe we are already not getting in by the way we are playing and the remaining schedule we have to get through.

Deuce better be ass when he finally gets PT in the league because if he's even a backup PG in the long run, Thibs absolute refusal to play him on this team, with this roster, is a death knell to him ever getting another HC job, in my opinion.
