If you want to feel my Knicks related dismay
Go do a fantasy draft on espn and see where you value any of our players .
Now imagine they will all be on the same team .
Without DM it feels like we will be completely irrelevant .
In salary cap mode:
JB is a $2 player
Randle our most valuable BY FAR AvgSal $12
RJ $1
Mitch $1

Lol is that even an nba team . Even adding Mitchell to that is still a laughing stock . What made me must upset is not the general valuation of the group , but my admittance of its accuracy as I realize the league is flooded with talent now and would not waste a real top 10 roster spot on one of these guys.

The Knicks are not a talented team.

Brunson should be an above-average point guard and a good player for us. I know you disagree, no need to revisit this debate, but I think Mitch is an average starter. Besides that? We're below average at every position, unless Randle can improbably revert to his 2020-21 form, which was overrated to begin with. Our best assets are Brunson and the bench led by Rose and IQ.

Absolutely true. Randle’s best version doesn’t even change any of that.

All that money lost for wife and kid lol

I think these jokes are inappropriate. It is also not sad. He abused his wife and child in the worst way and should not be given the chance to come back from that and shine as a millionaire role model. Imagine the violence involved in choking a woman and beating her head until ear drums tear. He even went much further than that so there’s no room for jokes if you ask me.

I think there was certainly some sarcasm in the first one. It's not a funny situation, its horrible and it's going to have unfortunate consequences for all parties involved. Based on current career earnings so far, Miles I presume now ex-wife and child should have adequate finances, but it's not a guarantee and they would be in a much better position if there was a new contract -- still in a BAD, traumatic situation, but financial security is sadly an incredible luxury in this country and to have it may be the difference between having a nice apartment in a decent town to having a nice home in a nice town with a great school. Does not change the trauma, but allows for other opportunities.

See even the "cheapish" Suns has a full sized table for their free agents to sign contracts.

No argument from me and I wasn't making a joke. I'm simply referring to another level of his stupidity.

I would say Charlotte could use a PF like Randle now.

It’s really amazing that the overpay for Gobert completely stalled the league.

We haven’t seen any moves in weeks

The Warriors crying and bitching about luxury tax is silly.

There are 3 ways to get talent in the NBA:

1. Draft players
2. Sign players
3. Trade for players

I don't know why the Warriors think that one should get preferential treatment over the others in terms of salary cap.

And in jail

Do you the league rules on domestic violence cases? If Bridges had signed a new deal before the arrest, would a conviction void the contract?

That was Ainge's one bite at the apple. He got it but now things are different. This is a new deal to put it in gambling terms. Every situation is different. Once Ainge got the haul for Gobert and committed to the rebuild, he lost leverage on future deal.

I think there are some remediation options teams can take but that's based on a very foggy memory of I don't even know what.

So it's a lock that we will sign him for the 2034/2035 season and pair him with OJ Mayo and Montrezl Harrell?
