I will say that they are a boring ass offense but, somehow it works. I'm done shytting on Thibs for now. I've been done shytting on Randle. I like this team. They should be somewhere in the 5 seed range at least. What the fuq are people so upset about around here?

I know Randle crapped the bed in the playoffs but man regular season.....
. the guy was absolutely hitting superstar type shots continuously. Some people on this board were calling him Larry Bird lol!

Does he seem to shrink in big moments , maybe, but with Brunson and hopefully better 3 pt shooting he will have more space to be a menace in the playoffs as opposed to past recent years.

For the second year in a row, I will be box score watching. I've watched the worst of the worst. Randolph Morris, Ime Udoka,Qyntel Woods, Jamison Brewer, Moochie Norris.etc..etc

brunson is too good to let this team be bad unfortunately.. but I am really hoping this team severely under achieves leading to a blow up and rebuild the correct way.

enjoy

I don’t want to see you around here during the playoffs

Ive earned my stripes. I can leave for regular season and come back for a playoff run.

I am definitely hoping for a blow up though. Brunson's great. Us locking into the randle stuff not trading him several times over is just a waste of time.

And RJ stinks too.

So you're a casual which means you don't count. Bounce!

I have very little faith in Randle come playoff time but, he should get another chance to change that. I do believe we can make the playoffs though if things go well health wise. We have a decent young group that was a top 4 team once they got rolling. Randle has been a workhorse for this team. That's no small task.

I am excited to see them make it work this year. Continuity matters. Chemistry matters. I believe we see improvement from all of the young guys. It should be a fun ride. You wouldn't know it around here though. Everyone thinks we're a bunch of bums who overachieved last year. A talentless 4/5 seed team. Who knew?

They want to have it both ways. Want an exciting young team like okc as if they’ve win anything yet… Jury is still out.

Bro watched 4 mins. Twice as long as he lasts in the sack. He must be exhausted.

Nope. This team is better. You're welcome. I don't care about the 54 wins or any stats! That team was built by morons and had no way to improve. Full of team busting contracts and injured players. No assets or cap space. This team has a brighter future and has gotten just as far in the playoffs. I'll take this situation over that one any day. It's not even close.

Which team had the better future should have no bearing on which one was the best at a specific moment in time. The focus of your statement was which team was better, not which team could get better. As a great man once told me, be better!!!

The old team had a pathway to improving anyway, though it had fewer assets. The Lowry trade doesn't get vetoed and it likely takes another step forward as opposed to declining the way it did with Bargs and Amar'e.

So I'm sorry to hear that. Money can't buy happiness, as they say.

Which team had a Lowry trade vetoed, then declined with MELO, Bargs and Amar'e? Exactly. This team is in MUCH better shape moving forward. Hence the better team to me. No circus in town for a few years now. No bad contracts. Plenty of players/picks to trade. That team, had Melo. Nothing else,

You didn't say that this team had a better upside than the 2012-13 team (which is debatable but a fair assessment). You implied it was better, and that's what I'm pushing back on.

The 2012-13 team was better by practically every metric or if we're being simple merely by looking at the standings.

Push back all you want. I said this is the best team in 24 years. All inclusive. With the exception of Dolan still being the owner, it is better from top down. Even Dolan is behaving much better. The only bad contracr left is Evan but, the amount of money and years is miles better than most contracts on that team. There are no declining players taking up a third of the cap space. Diva Randle is not as bad as Diva Melo. No Bargs. No players doing coke the night before a playoff game. A youth based approach.

It is night and day supporting a team that has a future over one that had nothing but drama and no hope of getting better. They never did get any better. They factually got much worse following that 54 win season. It took ten years to improve again. With this team. I'm good. Stats and W/L record aren't the only measuring stick for how good a team is.

Since this place loves team this and team that, we should announce of intensions now before the season starts. Are you team tank? Are you team win? Let's keep track of the wagon jumpers.

Agree 110% I don't think there is any chance this current team wins 54 games.

Return to New York Knicks
