Mitch vs KP season totals

KP - 51 pts
Mitch - 6pts

Rebs
KP - 12
Mitch - 14

Blks
KP - 5
Mitch - 2

Keep thinking you can play 4 on 5 vs good teams that have centers that can score / space. This is such a lopsided matchup and it doesn't even explain how damaging a center like this is that can't do anything on offense. We're spaced out against them, meanwhile KP is in an aggressive drop on any screens and plays a 1 man zone against us. Their wings and guards are big enough to battle on the boards and keep the offensive rebounds down, which makes Mitch basically pointless, when on the other end they either target him in ISO or just space with KP.

Anytime someone drove they were met with KP just standing there because he doesn't have to actually guard anyone.

I'm starting a GoFundMe to buy RJ a year's supply of Excedrin Migraine.

Send donations to @Knick4Real

I'm not going to overreact off this game. No RJ, IQ terrible, not much from the bench.

Grimes was hot and Thibs kept him sitting too long.

We also ran out of gas late.

Uhhh we were missing him tonight

RJ has come a long way but by no means is he an alpha.

Knicks could use one more long wing/combo forward defender. An OG, or a Herb Jones. We have no answer for the Tatums, KDs, and players of that ilk.

Putting 6’4” types like Hart, Grimes, Donte, IQ etc on them ain’t gonna work. Especially not in the playoffs.

Thibs sat a hot Grimes running 8 man rotation so Randle can be vocal point. Can’t even keep him in without RJ.

This is disconcerting that without RJ, the team has trouble functioning right. A well constructed team shouldn't depend on one player to be cohesive.
Something needs to be address. IQ being mad inconsistent right now.

Knicks got Roby and thought their job was done smh. Holding onto Fournier and mad picks while the 8 man rotation run out of gas for Thibs regular season record.
