That's a good one. Sort of a shorthand for the donkey and the tiger parable.

What are the big knocks on RFK? I'm not really familiar with American politics much.

He's basically a Republican backed spoiler candidate trying to siphon votes from Joe Biden.

He also has worms in his brain.

Trump will pay a few fees and nobody will care in a few months. Per usual. Biden's economy is killing a majority of the country and that's why his poll numbers are abysmal in almost every state. The only people who care about this are hyper-partisan democrats and left wing celebrities.

Now lock the thread lmao.

All crazy stuff aside, I often wonder if RFK Jr. is suffering from the end result of the trauma of seeing his father assassinated.

I don't condone his campaign or his views. Just part of me thinks that there's something really wrong with the guy.

All you're doing here is moving the goal posts. A few months ago you'd have said he would never get convicted. Now you're pretending he won't be punished. It is not partisanship that got Trump into this mess. It was Trump. Deflecting will only back you further into the corner you're already in.

Tried to forgive mine too but the corrupt republican justices decided to put a stop to that. As if I needed any more incentive to never vote republican.

They did the same to my sister. Hang in there brother. I think if Joe gets term 2 and a Congress to work with he's gonna follow up.

I'm about to say something that people I usually disagree with also say, but for a different reason.

The reason they say it is because they don't like to see facts reported.

The reason I'm saying is I like to see facts reported.

But it is true how much the mainstream media has degenerated, especially the past 2-3 years since the last general election.

Almost every outlet now engages in both sides coverage even when they know the opposing viewpoint is making bold lies and unsubstantiated claims. This is done to ratchet up tensions and keep viewers engaged via conflict, but it is rarely journalism any longer.

The biggest fall from grace has been the NY Times which now has some of the worst political coverage in the country after a pretty strong history of being a fairly reliable paper of record. Their polling methodologies are laughable and are calibrated to produce controversy. The NY Times is still a great source of OTHER information, but rarely is any good any longer on the political coverage.

CNN took a hard turn towards courting right of center voters and got their lunch served to them by enough of an alert public audience that was shocked at how brazen the Foxification of that network was.

Even MSNBC now suffers from this both sides nonsense in ways unimaginable 5 years ago.

Try telling the CA board that lol

Dudes over there think people are too ungrateful or whatever and Biden should stop.

Expected outcome, doesn’t mean much.

Trump still winning the election anyway.

But now he’s heavily favored.

At least he’s not Biden, that counts for something.

Do you not understand what has been happening since 2020?

Every poll showing a Republican with a lead was wrong and they all got destroyed at the ballot box. Every poll has been dead wrong for years now. The polling methodologies are completely broken.

It is the way the media handicaps the GOP to give them a fighting chance so they can sell clicks and ads.

No, he's just a spoiler who attracts conspiracy nuts. Libertarians are not particularly supporting him.

I remember my father stashing his money in a money market fund and collecting 17% interest. What we're going through now is mild by comparison and the economy has been very resilient even if income disparities are growing. But that's the nature of our economic system now, far less of a result of anything either POTUS has done. I think I'll back the guy who's investing in American infrastructure and alternative energy over the guy who dispensed massive checks funded by the taxpayers to his buddies.
