Leon has done an amazing job putting together the Nova Boys and getting OG from a rival. He's built a team that fits like a glove and will challenge the Celts.

However, not swallowing the full cup of homerism propaganda doesn't make someone a hater.

The idea of how the Knicks are "developing" 25+ year old vets is being stretched a bit. Guys are throwing around the word "development" a little too loosely.

They've done a good job of recognizing players on the rise - Randle, Brunson & iShart

They've done a good job targeting fit via trade and FA - Hart, Donte, OG, Bridges

Player development with RJ, IQ, Grimes and Deuce also good.

They also turned Quickley from a late first rounder to a guy getting 175M

Quickley was a huge success case. Man was seen as a reach on draft day, came in with Thibs comparing him to Lou Williams and being seen as a 3&D guy, almost got traded as some trade filler and for a late first, and then got us OG. I really haven’t seen a Knick develop that much as a draft pick. Shout out to my man David Lee too.

Think it goes to show everything goes hand in hand. Good scouting and good development has to get paired together.
