Yeah with Kat...you can tell he was a childhood Knick fan and playing for this team means a lot to him. Pairing him with Brunson is so underrated but it wont be in a couple of months...

To your point- I never imagine Kat would be one of my favorite players...

I love the all grit no quit identity the team has last year. I loved the way we were playing post trade. I was nervous that the trade may have been a mistake at first. Not anymore. I love this team when they are firing on all cylinders. I think we would be the best in the East if we had Shart but, whatever.

New team. New season. We need to get healthy and get on track to push the team over the top!

If this team somehow held on to IHart.....added to KAT and Bridges....this team would be up there with Cavs and Celts. The dominant rim protector Center has been a staple in the Thibs defense.

The celts are one thing- they won a chip and beat a very good Mav team. The cavs lost back to back
games against ATL. I'm not underestimating ATL at all. I just want to point out- IMO- the Cav's record is a product of having talent that has played together and built-chemistry...We havent had the chance to build chemistry. Just look at the top teams and ask yourself did any of these teams add 10 new players...

So I dont have a ceiling for Kat and his rim protection ability- I mean in the month of Dec he's averaging about 2 blocks...I think once we get MItch back and he's settled in- thats when we'll get a good idea about our ceiling for this new team...

There certainly will be a lot of absolutes taken from this game but it's 1 of 82. Would like to just see us play well since it will be a playoff type atmosphere.

We improved talent wise from the starters to the bench. This team has more talent than we had by far. It comes down to chemistry and continuity that we lost from the trade. Looking forward to getting everyone back healthy and seeing what we really have.

He really stifled the Warriors when I watched that game. As you say, KAT is a good antidote for him. I wonder if OG or KAT will take Randle. I'd guess OG and I think that isn't good for Randle.

We saw OG guard giant Embiid- I expect him to guard Randle...I will finally get to see a full game with Randle that should mean something to him and see how he plays...

I'm more worried about Donte than Randle. Julius seems to disappear in statement games. If Donte gets hot early, it could be a very long night.

Not worried about Donte at all. He is playing TERRIBLE over there. He's coming off the bench behind Ant so, nothing to fear because he's gonna have Deuce or Mikal or Hart locking him up. Randle sucks and OG gonna clamp his ass.

Thibs should know better than to let Donte get hot from three. That's all we need to do to shut him down. We need to trust the bench and they need to score more. We can beat these guys. Hopefully Thibs doesn't run is into the ground by the 4th. We have a bench. USE IT!
