It is crazy that Josh and Mikal are 1st and 2nd in mpg, while OG is 6th

Brunson is 19th, KAT is 23rd

Hopefully with the PJ addition and Mitch being back, it reduces all the starter's minutes

Shamet has shot the lights out the last 20 games (45% from three on 2.0 3pa/g) so he has solidified himself as a rotation player

McBride is the youngest player in the rotaiton. I don't see why he can't get a massive boost in minutes. Now with Brunson gone, hopefully McBride can show he can handle the increased role.

The ironic thing is that even though Thibs is so reluctant to give young guys and bench players opportunities, sooner or later, they get their own opportunity to play 30-40 minutes during the season because of Thibs

Just wait patiently and be ready to go! Everyone will get their turn by the end of the season!!

What quality? We have only 6 guys worthy of a championship roster's rotation. I get it we need to play the bench regardless to not burn out starters but our bench is still the worst in the league, this FO didn't do a good job at all to fill the bench

I'm sure they wanted to but the CBA really limits you especially a year after a couple big trades.

They will have to be savvy to find bench pieces through later draft picks and signings.

Also if thibs is still hear he's going to have to invest in young players...FO and Thibs will have to be on same page...if you draft Kolek/Dadiet/Huk guys those guys need to slowly earn minutes or investing in a top heavy roster isn't going to cut it.

Can't be like Kolek and Dadiet are picks and then just continue to play Cam Payne and Shamet over them. Yes maybe early on Payne and Shamet might be better but for the Knicks bench to be good player development with bench pieces will be very important over the next 3-4 years.

they tried he was hurt...my guess if he makes it through rest of season healthy Mitch will get dealt for depth to help bench. Then hopefully have either Precious or Huk earn more minutes as the backup.

We cant wait 3-4 years for those players to develop, they gotta improve in the season. Of course Thibs isn't the right coach for that, we need someone creative here to turn dust into gold. I get Kolek as he was one of the most ready college players but Dadiet wasn't the right pick for this team at all, it was obvious this team was gonna compete and he is a project who struggles in g league

Yes he was salary filler but we didn't have draft picks as sweeteners to get a quality bench piece. They clearly shopped Mitch but nothing was more impactful this year then just hoping Mitch would come back healthy.
