According to MSN, these minutes will be needed for Donte Devincenzo and Julius Randle:

One side effect of this is Google went overboard in relying on AI generated material for their search data. If AI LLMs only reference AI output the systems cannibalize themselves which ends up standardizing the AI style sludge appearing in publications and feeds.

After Google's SEO various updates killed many website businesses reliant on organic search traffic many people said SEO was dead. It will likely be the opposite though as actual writing that is non-AI sludge will stand out more and search engines will need that content to stay relevant. There is competition percolating now within AI tools like Perplexity taking their first small market share of online search queries.

But the ability to make a living as a writer now will require one of two things, either a complementary set of skills that facilitates marketing funnels or a personal brand that sells your books. People who only copywrite will be phased out, but writers who can use AI to do the jobs of 3 or 4 people will become more valuable if they can both ideate campaigns and then execute them online.

As far as paid journalism, that is mostly fckd, because media at anything less than scale can no longer sustain itself by advertisers. Subscription models have worked for the NYTimes and maybe for very small outfits that run a lean operation. Otherwise, it will require a wealthy benefactor to fund a journal or news group that can pay their writers a living wage. And that doesn't always end well as Bezos just crapped the bed and infantilized WaPo's mission as a journalism based paper by eliminating any voices of dissent.

Pistons aren't beating the Knicks in the 1st round if we fall to 4.

But even if the Knicks go down in the 1st round to the Pistons as they say, I'd rather go out in a hard fought 7 game series against that young, hungry team than get swept by the Celtics in 2nd round, losing by an average of 30 points.

Let the Pacers wear the Celts down chasing around that fast paced team ....maybe the Pacers even upset them.

Then....with a fully healthy team, we beat the fraud Cavs and can see the winner in the ECF.

Pistons 4, Knicks 1.

Pistons will gentleman sweep the Knicks.

This Knicks team doesn't defend, its offense has been solved, and Thibs can't adjust.

This feels like such a bleak point in human history where writers are being replaced by AI that routinely gets stuff wrong because silicon valley oversold how effective it actually is.

Google's search engine has become so garbage that you're better off putting the word "reddit" along with whatever you're searching for just to get actual answers that can be corroborated.

Like if I search for "F*ck Trae Young" the AI results may give me something I don't wanna see

I don't think Brunson will let this happen. We should be able to escape the first round. We will get swept in the second however.

It doesn't matter. Brunson isn't good enough to overcome the simultaneous flaws of the roster and coach. No one is.

If we could avoid the Pistons, that would be ideal since they are likely to start a fight and/or hurt someone with their physicality. We should win, but it will be a tiring ordeal. It would be better for us if another top team had to go through them to wear them down a bit.

Actual contenders beat whomever they face. If we have to wish for easier paths to the Finals then we're not contenders.

Not really true. I mean for the 1a teams like the Celtics, it probably shouldn't matter as much, but there are certainly easier and harder paths. If I were the Celtics (the team I feel is the best in the East), I would not want the Heat in round 1, not want the Pistons in round 2.
Those two teams are going to get their pound of flesh win or lose. Also, Pistons have proven they can make Tatum struggle on offense and thus break down whole teams offensive game plan.

Knicks are in the contener bubble, but likely 1a are Celtics, thunder, 1b Cavs, tier 2 would be Nuggets, Knicks, I would have the Wolves there. Tier 3 would be the teams that I feel have equal odds to be bounced round 1 as make the NBA finals.

I think we are slotted into that 3 spot at this point. And we won't play until April 19th so there will be plenty of time off.

I mean they have been very careful with Robinson so let's see how they ramp up Brunson. My starters would not be going more than 32 minutes total this game. ANd we should be playing 10 guys

Any of you guys own a Quest 3 VR headset? If so the app Xstadium allows you to watch today's live game in VR courtside. It's pretty amazing looking. Almost feels like you're actually there on the baseline.

It's because the NBA spent so much of Oct-Jan trying to avoid the NFL by scheduling around it.

If you didn’t drink Hawk blood today, then you’re not a Knicks fan.
