Truly the 2014 Kemba Walker to KATs Al Jefferson and Brikal's Mike Kidd Gilchrist.

I thought that we were more aggressive defensively in Game 1 than in Game 2.

Where's your proof? I have several playoff series to back my assertion up. What do you have?

I think it's important to note that during that game, OG was done in 5 minutes, Mitch was done, Bojan was done, Josh Hart had an abdominal strain from G6 and had to leave that game early and probably showed up to G7 when he shouldn't have, and then Brunson himself had to leave. Alec Burks had been dusted off the bench for that series.

So yea...he wasn't superman. However, I think if you just take that game 7 where the team was really injured to argue that Brunson does not consistently elevate his performance in the clutch in the postseason, then I disagree with you heavily because that whole entire postseason, he was carrying us, and it was nothing new and something we've seen in the previous postseason and something we're seeing this postseason. I think we've also seen enough players who have choked in the spotlight regularly that we know when someone shows up and when someone doesn't.

dude went out with a broken hand :D :D :D

yall are insane. brunson singelhandedly kept us in the series vs philly with many clutch performances. yall never gonna be happy, even if we had prime mj, shaq, duncan, magic all on the same team you would find something to say MJ gotta be more clutch and shaq isnt dunking enough.

From The Athletic article that just dropped on Brunson

To really understand just how confident Jalen Brunson is, let’s take a trip back to February, in Memphis, when yet another New York Knicks game hung in the balance. Surely Knicks fans remember it, if for nothing more than a unique moment between a star player and coach.

The Grizzlies led New York by two with under 30 seconds remaining. Brunson, with a chance to give his team control of the game, broke the half-court line and dribbled right. A screen from Josh Hart gave him a sliver of space, and Brunson, the man known as “Captain Clutch,” drilled the shot.

Memphis called a timeout as soon as the ball tickled the twine. Brunson, with no hesitation, turned around and crouched ever so slightly, his arms extended and his fingers pointing at his head coach, Tom Thibodeau. In Thibodeau fashion, the coach waved his arm and turned to walk toward the bench, as if he were dismissing his star player.

That wasn’t the case. It was an inside moment between the two, one that Brunson said he didn’t want to share until a later date.

That date is now. Brunson, yet again, put together a clutch masterclass, this time in the playoffs, to give the Knicks a 3-1 series lead over the Pistons on Sunday. “Today is the day,” I told him postgame. He smiled and turned around.

“Thibs came up to me (before the shot) and said, ‘What do you want to run?'” Brunson recalled. “I told him, ‘It doesn’t matter. Do you want a 2 or a 3?’ We kept going back and forth. Finally, I said, ‘A 2 or a 3?’ He said, ‘A 3.’

“So I went for 3, made it and pointed at him.”

Right? And no one would be surprised about it, if they watched the Knicks for the past 3 years.

Wow I like the part where he talks about how clutch Brunson was in previous postseasons and how he outscored all players in the postseason in clutch points by 19 last year. But of course, if I were a poster who didn't watch Knicks games and needed to cling to my pride, I would just say Brunson is not clutch in the postseason
