I’m not confident going into Friday. Mainly because our coach is still Thibs, and the fact that the Celtics can spam the same **** repeatedly because they know we are slow to adjust. They got a bunch of confidence back, because this team lacks the focus and killer instinct when it matters the most. We have a 3-2 lead, but in both the games they lost they just were not locked in, our coach continues to shoot himself in the foot, and the overall mindset and lackadaisical approach bothers the **** out of me. If they want to be taken seriously as contenders, they need to start acting like it. Stop making things more difficult than it needs to be, and show some damn maturity and take care of **** business.

Crazy we're right back here after Game 5 and the Knicks playing a full 48 minutes. This is why it's so incredibly hard to get down in the trenches. If the Knicks lost close games, that'd be different, but not playing a full 48 minutes so persistently just puts sour notes in my mouth.

Honestly, I don't want him fired. It's been nice having a stable front office and coaching staff, after decades of revolving doors and turnover. I just can't comprehend how he can't adapt to modern ways.

It's ironic because it feels that every key player on our team has been underperforming (besides Brunson and Mitch lately), yet we've never been so close to the Conference Finals or Finals in over 20 years.

I think our big acquisitions (OG, KAT and Mikal) have largely underperformed in these playoffs, but the sum of their contributions (with the others') has still made a difference in our favor. Thus far. But we need more to beat the Celtics, let alone make the Finals.

The Celtics completely exposed Josh Hart last night.

They ignored him to collapse on Brunson or KAT. That's part of the reason Kornet had so many blocks - as soon as the entry pass was made, the help sprinted towards the paint. It completely disrupted our offense and nullified our matchup advantages.

I honestly think we could lose game 6 if Thibs relies too heavily on him. We need Mitch and Deuce to play more, and Hart to play fewer minutes. Against this coaching I don't think heavy doses of Hart play to our benefit, even though I love the player.

Other than game 4, we haven't had a "team" win in these playoffs. Out of the 3, KAT is the one that seems to be struggling the most. It's weird, because you look at his averages and can conclude that on paper, he's having a great series with 19/12. But he has more fouls than 3PTA. He has the same amount of TOs and 3PTA. He has 2 assists the entire series. This is the KAT I've been screaming from the rooftops to stay away from this team. He's just not locked in like he needs to be. And these soundbites from the locker room seem to be suggesting KAT's not following the game plan.

I think when Hart got that elbow it added another layer of mental toughness. I dont think he made 4 3's in row like that in the playoffs.
I also loved his energy in the post game. I expect him to have the right energy in the lockerroom for his guys-im guessing an energy thats

I agree with you 100% on Brunson. He's pissed! 5 fouls in the 3rd?! HOF Isiah Thomas said something very interesting to me..
He said the Celtics strategy was to specifically target Brunson which woud encourage/or bait the refs to call fouls on him. I put the video in the post game for those that are interested in hearing the take. Regardless, Brunson is pissed and he always plays better when he's pissed.

When I saw that 3rd quarter and everything that happened I was pissed too. First thing that crossed my mind was I need to make this thread and that we are winning agme 6!

yep. even after this game i still feel we have a great shot to make the finals and yet i feel disappointed in a lot of guys performances even when we do win.
