Basically all the things people hate about Thibs -- Overplaying stars, poor adjustments, late game execution woes. Added benefit of not maximizing a single player. Maybe with the exception of JR and Chris Smith...

Woodson got both Steve Novak and Chris Copeland paid because of what they did as Knicks

Lin got Novak paid. Cope was good at what he did. Basically in the same mold as John Wallace, Lee Nailon, Kevin Knox.

i grew up on riley and jvg. which is why i embraced thibs. that's probably the top 3 in my lifetime in that order with an honorable mention for "rasheed, you wanna play some?"

all time it seems like red but i've only watched limited tape from those days
