I don't hate Yabu. He's just been eating too much. He sets great screens but if he can shed some weight he'll be much better.

yabu was a fringe nba player every year but last year on a team trying to lose and clarkson was known to be mostly washed. good luck.

I don’t care about the wins or losses this season, I’m keeping my eye on our ability to move off ball, share the ball and having a consistent driving threat….so far it’s a work in progress.

We have moments where you see unselfishness but it’s not a natural flow that happens throughout the game hence the overabundance of chucking up shots and a lot of stagnation on offense.

That’s a coach and player personal issue. KAT and Brunson as your guys to build that for your base as an offense? Eh…we’ll win games off talent but outside of that. Idk. We’ll see.

It's October 26th. This game is irrelevant. Developing the bench is absolutely critical if the goal is to reach the finals and win.

KAT also shot us back into the game at the end with his 2 threes. Got 18 boards too.

on a strained quad

he shouldn't be playing, but can we depend on Huk, Yabu, and Jemison with no Mitch and KAT?

I guess I can give him a pass cause he is playing injured but 2/8 from 3 isnt going to cut it. He needs to shoot better if were going to win these games. Our offense is basically built for him to chuck and he hasn't delivered yet.

The starters were all positive besides bridges and the only positive bench player was Hart, rest of bench massively negative. So not sure the rationale

Kat must've been really great on defense to be a positive seeing as he shot like sht.

Your numbers are a LIE

They aren’t though they’re the numbers. He shouldn’t have only had 14 shots 8 of them from 3. Coaching failure. Still had 15 and 18 anyway but he wasn’t really being used on offense unless he was just launching a 3. They should have actually tried to post him up or something

i really don't think so. they probably should see what they can get for yabu/ fodder and a pick swap at the deadline. maybe that's enough salary to get a real player.

Ok well by that logic we just have to accept the loss and hope these dudes learn to play

Even from a developing the bench perspective I didn’t like it. They looked bad, Shamet had 0 points in 16 minutes, not to single him out but everyone else was also a disaster. Clarkson is the one guy who has had moderate success in the nba and they don’t give him consistent minutes or touches either so he’s out there cold trying to make something happen

I mean if youre okay with the "best" shooting big of all time going 2/8 thats on you. And piggybacking on others to fluff his +/- who am I to stop you.

I for one just have higher standards for our highest paid player and dont like losing to the heat. 15pts and shooting like sht isnt going to cut it.

Leave the fat kid alone.

Og and kat shot a combined 10/27 and 6/20 from 3. They have to be better specifically kat seeing how he is a negative on defense.

fair we still didn't lose there minutes though. They at least provided defense (OG) and rebounding (KAT).

We got smacked in those bench minutes. We gotta find some combos that work.

Game got out of hand when Brunson/KAT/Mikal were all off the floor at the end of the 3rd.

Shamet has been a negative in a all 3 games and that’s even though we won two of them. He’s 100% washed. Can someone please tell me what they we see in this guy. Give me Diawara or that Jamison guy or anybody else

This is the time when you figure your bench and rotations out. There will be AWFUL combinations (Hart and Fatass) that won't work but, better knowing that now then being forced into panic stricken moves.

any time you put 3 or 4 of these guys together you're playing with fire. we were down 2 of our top 7 and we still don't have much after that. it's just like last year.

Clarkson looks washed.

Yabadabadoo is close to being on my list. Will give him some time.

Shamet is what he is. Much preferred Matthews but they’re both journeymen.

Towns played soft and dumb, which is why I will never be a Towns believer on any level. I dan never get behind this guy because his play never gets you to fully support him.

Clarkson took 11 shots in 15 minutes and is one of the least efficient players in the NBA. He’s a historically cold player who will be out of the rotation by mid season

We could have had Grimes on our team this summer... Hart for Grimes and a filler... the Sixers low balled him in the worst way

Also Powell could have been a better addition. He is been solid for at least 7 seasons in a row

Our starters are heavily paid. They need to build leads so our bench cant lose games.

Kat and brunson are top 10/15 players and og and mikal are super role players. We should build heavy leads with them and also be staggering brunson and kat so one of them is on the floor at all times.

Either way kat has to be better than this for us to win games. Regardless of our bench.

@Miami is basically a schedule loss.

How do you spend your nights in Miami?

Me? I’m looking for the nearest Caribbean mamacita and tryn to make a movie.

Has no impact on this teams long term outlook.

More concerned with the GMen squadron.

Anywho, today was a good day. The ladies were outside.
