KnicksManiac wrote:In addition to being angry about losing Lin, I'm also angry about losing $$$ because my MSG stock continues to drop. I bought it before the 2010 free agency when it first went public at $20 per share. It came close to reaching $37 per share but now it has been dropping every day.

It’s crossed it’s 50 SMA (Simple Moving Average) very sharply and getting close to breaking through it’s 200 SMA. If stock hits below 32-33 you need to be very cautious on the downward trends unless you think you can predict the future.

darren rovell ‏@darrenrovell
Over the last 4 days, Madison Square Garden shares have collectively fallen $93 million in value.

That's twice the lux tax would have been. SMH.

been wanting to sell this turd once it looked like the Knicks weren't resigning Lin but it keeps going down. just give me an up day or two so i can sell my call options. i'm still up a good amount thanks to linsanity and i'm happy to take my money off the table.

This coming from the schmuck that got on his soapbox and celebrated the move to let Lin go... time for to go tweet him a little more of how I feel... stinking schmuck.. he couldn't carry Nate Silvers pocket protector.

the stock will go back up to the Lin days eventually but I think the damage has been done to your call options

volume will be too low to bring it back to the Lin days

i think the stock will eventually bounce back but i don't see a major catalyst for the stock unless the knicks become legit contenders. the options don't expire until 2013 but i have no interest in keeping them anymore. would be nice to sell on a freakin up day though.

whatever hippy! it's gone down the last two days after it became official on tuesday night.
the worst part is the stock hit a new high on July 2 of $38.79 and now it's down to $35.33 which has killed my options.

I would hold it for an earnings play coming up on August 24th

Over 100 million now.

Its times like this - Dolan shold have just given a random New Yorker 100 million instead of watching it vanish. I think that would have been a great feel good story.
