Absolutely ridiculous. JVG has said plenty of positive things about the Knicks all year. Hell, he even called out Breen on a couple of occasions for being overly critical and negative. The guy can be a little extreme with his suggestions on how to change the game at times, but he'll calls it the way it is. Whether it's negative or positive.

Really? JVG has always shown his preference for the Knicks mainly because he understands the culture, and I can't understand why you guys hate Breen. He was on espn tonight but you can't be mad he is the same whether on MSG or ESPN which shows he is real.

Kevin Harlan is my favorite. Very fair and has a hilarious voice. Makes hilarious play calls as well

Just food for thought, perhaps somebody should at some point take a survey. Me? I would place my write-in vote on Mike Breen as future MSG analyst. Let Breen keep ESPN and channel 7.

Breen is usually a bit negative about the Knicks which I'm fine with when the Knicks play like **** but today was a different story.

He was actually cheering for the Celtics to beat the Knicks during their run even when Anthony hit a three, he kept making comments like "Maybe the Celtics can get a few steals again" in a pathetic way.

If it wasn't for Jeff Van Gundy, I would have watched the MSG version. Gundy kept it real when the lead was 7, he started commenting like a coach would when the lead was cut to 7 he said "Forgot about what happened, you have a 7 point lead on the road, go and get the win", all while Breen, a supposed die-hard Knicks fan was orgasmic for the Celtics.

Even though Knicks deserve blame for that collapse -- during the run:

When JR missed a 3 back rim, Breen says Smith "way off again" then when Green barreled into a Knick a moment later, straight into him, blatantly after his feet were set, "Green a little out of control" and he emphasized "a little."

Laughable.

On the other hand JVG hit the nail on the head when he said "I don't like this offense the Knicks are running" in talking about Melo's series of iso after iso.

I really dont see any of this Breen stuff you guys are seeing. Maybe you're just seeing everything through a Knick lens or something. Boston went on a 20-0 run and came within 4 damn points. Any announcer would be going nuts. What do you expect the man to act like? It was an amazing stretch and comeback. Then you guys cherry pick like 2 things he says to prove hes biased. The guy was just calling the game.

I'm as big of a J.R supporter as there is KD but Breen had every right to state J.R was way off AGAIN. 3/14 during game 5 and only 5/13 during game 6 (.296%). J.R impacts way more than a shooting percentage can ever show but some confuse Mike Breen (who grew up dreaming calling NY games) constructive criticism with negativity. Fans who are tough on New York then call out Breen for also being tough but when in reality? It's only because he has New York's best interests in mind.

At the end of the night? I love having Breen call Knick games because deep down inside, I know we have a Knicks announcer who loves us while calling games during National Televised games.

Idk how u guys dont see it he loves wen teams like bos miami esp pierce n lbj go off on us he gets all fuzzy inside lol. For god sakes at end of game 5 when he said boston pushed game 6 u could hear the elation in his voice

IMO Breen is just motivated by the crowd.
He is always going nuts when the home team is doing something special, no matter if it's the Knicks or someone else.

I'm glad I watched it on ESPN. Mike Breen jizzed so hard when the Celtics were making a run that I actually felt even better when we won.

I don't get why people are hating on a man for doing his job. He's supposed to be unbiased. If he acts like a knick homer he wouldn't have this job. That's why people like Stacy king only call games for the bulls.
