Eh none of this is happening but Melo actually fits them very well with Blake as a FA with all sorts of lower leg injuries...don't think it's that farfetched.

Said it last year and I think it was Thug or NLR who disagreed with me when I said the tide was going to shift on Melo.

Melo still plays like he's a top dawg, it's a fascinating case study to me to see when declining players still play like they're 23 instead of being 32.

Larry Johnson is the perfect example of a guy who knew he was done and completely changed his playing style to suit his body and his role.

Melo is cooked defensively, doesn't have the foot speed anymore, his shot is falling off, still doesn't communicate on defense, Melo, Melo, Melo, what is happening with you?

This is not the player I spent years defending.

Melo has basically turned into Stacey Patton except Stacey Patton changed at the end of the movie, Melo? Not really.

Melo's body is just failing him. It's sad to watch honestly because he'll give us a game soon where he drops 20, 30, good statline and then it's back to his whatever.

And that it was a 1 year experiment. That trade was not bad. What was bad was the follow up signings of Noah/Lee and then resigning Lance.

Same thing happened last year... decent ball movement and we were hovering around .500. All of a sudden ball movement stopped and we start losing again. I think it's time for Melo to just ask to be traded.

If I'm Melo, I waive the no-trade clause quick. He's on the road to becoming Marbury during his last season in NY. I can't defend Melo anymore after his lackluster effort. Now that Melo can't score, he's useless. He's also a bad influence on the development of the younger players, especially KP. I'm willing to trade him anywhere that gets us an expiring. If he doesn't agree, let him embarrass himself by being benched.
