Yeah, it was the only way to get it to work in the trade machine without the Nets giving up almost half their roster aside from their own building blocks. He expires after this season anyway. Lin is their own lesser version of our Noah at this point.

OKC fans proposed this on the trade thread

Lee and KOQ

for

Singler (filler - final year of deal is a club optoin), Terence Ferguson, Alex Abrines, and Josh Huestis

I would have to think about that deal. Singler is a filler but that frees up that last year of Lee's deal. I know I know, everyone loves KOQ but he will test the FA market and we will lose him for nothing.

Now we would have a glut at the 2 guard position (THjr, Dotson, T-ferg, and Abrines). Maybe we could re-route Abrines to a team for another future pick.

NYK gotta address their penetration situation whether it be through draft or free agency or trade but having jack as your best penetrator isnt healthy. We Need somebody athletic that can get to the rim and put some kind of pressure on the defense, it doesnt have to come from the PG position just somebody capable of doing it we settle for alot of 3's and forces to KP with very low penetrating tendencies.

I want at least one NY born at each position for upcoming seasons:

20 active players from NY

KOQ // Noah // Drummond // D.Johnson
Isaac // McCullough // Gibson // C.Frye
Carmelo // T.Harris // Guy // Harkless
D.Green // Kilpatrick// Anderson // Lance
Irving // Kemba // Whiteside / Stephenson

Thoughts on taking a flyer on Deron Williams? I'd think he'd keep defenses more honest than the vets we have running the point. Or has he fallen off that much?

Bucks out: Monroe, Jabari, Teletovic & 2nd
Bucks in: Chandler, Lee and Bledsoe

Knicks in: Jabari, Dudley and Monroe
Knicks out: Kanter, Lee, Sessions, Chi 2nd

Phoenix in: Kanter, Teletovic, Sessions, Chi 2nd, Bucks 2nd and Knicks TPE plus cash

PS: Kanter and Chandler could swap teams (if Bucks want Kanter more, and you could also give KOQ or Willy to whomever feels like more value should be added on the package)

We've got Trey Burke playing for Westchester. His first game is Saturday night. I'm going to be watching him to see if he can fill that role and win the PG spot if Jack falters. Eventually the job will be Frank's but I have hope that Burke can help us down the line.

Anyone see any candidates/targets for a Noah bad contract for bad contract swap? I mean, it'd be better if we at least had someone at a position where there isn't such a logjam.

No team will consider him until the end of next season, we are stuck.

Interest in Noah right now or next season would take a forward thinking GM that hopes to make a splash in 2020 free agency. Unfortunately, I don't think that free agent class is looking all too strong.

If Noah's here for the 2019-2020 season, it wouldn't make sense to trade him at all. I'd much rather just have him expire (unless there's an amazing offer for him of course).

What kind of money will Robert Covington be looking to get next summer? 20 mil per?

Could be possible if the Knicks were to move Lee and Lance Thomas for expiring(s)

Milwaukee seems to have a huge hole at Center. If they offered Monroe for Kanter, would you take it?

I really appreciate all that Kanter's brought to the table, but I still don't view him as core piece.
