Nice to see him liked/respected by the rest of the league.

For me, the jury is still out and it will be VERY interesting to see how he handles being The Man.
Fours are usually smaller, I can shoot over them easier.

KP
He doesn't muscle up vs. small ball 4s anyway when they can easily take away his momentum. If he truly worked on his core this season, he would make every shot in the post easily.

Well, I think he definitely made some progress. If you re-watch last game, he did back, I think it was Acy down in the post, without a ball, but still, its a progress. Also, I liked how he used his body against Lin, just banked him in the chest, and got a little more space for a shot.
He got stronger. Probably not by much, but the most important thing is to preserve his mobility.
I was complaining how I didn't saw him dribble/drive as much in Eurobasket. We saw so many clips from him working on his handles.. but he doesn't seem to use them much.
Yesterday he tried to drive a lot, that's a good sign.
Posting up will be a 3rd option for KP. After just straight up shooting or driving. You have to accept that.

You already see it being done to Frank after one game! Some really annoying ass ungrateful Knicks fans.
Juco24 wrote:Could it be possible that some Knicks fans OVERestimate KP? I like KP I really do but while some have donned him as king of New York I still see a player in need of much improvement on both ends of the floor and that's being realistic. Switching him to C would help tremendously but he doesn't want that. MORE than anything I want to see him make his teammates better, he hasn't shown that in a Knicks uni and anyone saying he has is flat out wrong!

Thugger HBC wrote:KP is certainly the Knicks best player, but while KP is really talented, imo he isn't the generational type that can will any cast of teammates into something meaningful, and there's nothing wrong with that.
KP is entering his 3rd year, he has to be able to transform his own game to the next level before any chance of his impact rubbing off on his teammates.
There is still quite a bit of growing into his own for KP, but he has shown he can be a terrific player for years to come while that growth process continues.

2 years? By then he'll be 24! Basically on the downside of his career.Sark wrote:People acting like 1 summer in the gym is gonna make someone stronger. It takes years of work to develop the strength that you expecting. Probably another 2 years before he is able to dominate space with his size/strength.
