Nah, HEZI was one of the guys that I specifically remember getting into debates with over how good Willy can be. The vast majority of the board loved it, but he was one of the few that never really bought it.

There was a point in time when I was on the bandwagon, like really early in his rookie year when he was showing flashes. I liked him and even said he was looking like a 1st round talent but then throughout the season the more I saw him play the less impressed I got. Now I'm even less intrigued by him after how he's looked this season and even though I do understand he's a young kid that just wants to play, I just don't think he's that good or has done anything to warrant getting this much media attention. If they want to keep him and play him, it's cool with me. If they want to trade him, it's cool with me. Either way, the Knicks aren't gonna feel any sort of impact by his presence or his absence alone, but they could feel some sort of impact if they bring in someone who adds a missing dynamic so that's why I rather see him traded.

well to be fair to kanter he was at least trying defensively to start the year. I saw some signs. But clearly lately with the team trending down hill he has reverted back to the "can't play" kanter theme. I never saw him as a piece...he was always a stop gap that I actually wanted to opt out for the beginning.

I get why some started to like him, rebounding machine, efficient offense, plays hard, embraces the city.

But the whole I don't know why im not playing in the 4th rubbed me the wrong way. Like I'm only happy about being here because I'm playing. But now that people are exposing me for the fake "team" guy he suggests he is.

See, to me, trying defense doesn't mean anything more than a reason to like a guy. If a guy sucks on defense, tries on defense, but still sucks on defense...he still sucks on defense and him trying is just a way to still give him credit in light of his ineptitude. It was cool to see him embrace the city and be efficient, but that was the only part of his game that I ever liked. Tunnel vision, piss poor defense, and the rebounds didn't mean much because he wouldn't play defense just to get them.

Anyways, I'm just happy to see you on the same anti-Kanter train as I am on.
