Have you not seen the Tatumless packages they tryna hype up?

That’s because Boston has so many picks.
Brown is also better than any prospect we could add.

Us Knick fans must take the homer glasses off. We did this with KP.

Rozier
Brown
Williams
A bunch of picks

Is better than

Knox
Frank
Kanter
A bunch of picks

being a homer is one thing Greenie but overlooking the affect of coaching and the current playing system and the impact it has on young players needs to be considered. I dont think you do that...James Harden doesnt have this historical run without Dantoni's system. If you put any of our young players under Brad Stevens whos to say they dont look just as good if not better...Potential
should be the main focus...

You're assuming we can get him later. Waiting until the summer adds risk. If Boston is able to convince Kyrie and AD to sign with eachother, Tatum trumps our pick (which is projected to be pick 3.7 based off of odds). If Boston gets AD, KD is not coming without Kyrie and they'll create a dynasty. Meanwhile. Kawhi is not coming perioid. Klay and Kemba are staying put. We don't want Butler on a young team. Most overrated player in the world. So, I see it as:

Mitch
Someone on a good-sized 1 year deal
Knox - LFT
Ja Morant/Barret/Cam - Trier
DSJ - Ntilikina

No FA's are coming...

VS.

Who Knows (Zaza and McGee won championships...)
AD
KD
Who Knows
DSJ

This isn't Melo + Amare.... This is KD and AD. From there, we'd probably use the rest of our money on a 1) DJ 1-year; 2) try to trade for someone like Lillard, McCollum, Beal or some other guard that can shoot, or 3) Kyrie + KD take slightly less than the max to play together. You can't pass up the opportunity to pair AD and KD... no matter what the cost.

I would rather have Kyrie + KD with all our picks and young players (plus 14% chance at Zion) then KD + AD while trading most of our picks and young players. The cost just seems too pricy right now when we are already in a position for 2 max's without needing to trade anything.

Kanter, Knox, Mitch, Trier, 2019 NYK 1st, Mavs Two Picks *and* DSjr in a separate deal to Pelicans or to a 3rd team that reroutes compensation to the Pels (since DSjr can only be traded on his own)

Frank + AD + two max cats + mid-level fillers. Finals would be in reach in NY... finally.
NO! Do not trade our pick at all! Keep that pick, Sign guys who want to be here and cheap role players! Why does everyone want to trade the draft picks for a player who is looming for free agency!?

I don’t see potential with anything I posted.
I don’t like Knox
Frank is a disappointment

I hate Jaylen Brown too so I’m equal opportunity.
Rozier is whatever. I’m not feeling him.

Everytime Boston has traded away players, they tend to look worse on their other teams. Boston's system makes them look better than what they're actually are ala Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley,

Especially since AD leaves if KD doesn't sign. Game Theory 101, but Dolan clearly missed that course, so who knows.

if stauskas can get moved why can't we just move Mudiay. I don't want that PG glut going forward.

At least move Mudiay and Vonleh at the deadline....I don't think that is asking too much...

or do we really like mudiay for some cockamamie reason???

No reason for Mudiay to still be here. Smith and Mudiay lineups will make me puke.

AD doesn't get moved to Boston without Tatum included. I'm too lazy to check, but everybody seems to indicate that the future Boston picks are superior to the future Knicks picks. Anyone know if that's actually true?
