This sounds a lot like the 1st amendment of Fizdalism "you keep what you kill"

The irony is that Thibs might use Quickley as a floor spacer for Rose, when we could've done that with RJ running the PNR to begin with. Just further going away from our best long-term interests.

in the last couple of games we saw a lot more rj handling and they were running more rj/mitch pnr. not sure why not today.

Hang on. Occam’s Razor is that they know Elf sucks. No? Rivers maybe also out but Elf won’t start.

If Q is benched I’m gonna suspend the board and quit as a fan.

yep. and i think organizationally/coaching-wise they're really the blueprint we're following now.

no we are not. they play a lot of young guys, even undrafted rookies. we are the exact opposite

Who are all these young guys the Heat plays and how old are they?

The Knicks will almost definitely move some or all of Frank, Knox, and Rivers for contracts and assets.

I wonder if there was anyone in the draft that could have filled that role. Can you say, Haliburton? Instead we draft ANOTHER PF to back up a ball hog PF who won't be here whenever the Knicks do truly try to rebuild.

Good stuff!

This is true.

It's just hard to understand why Thibs would have Payton in the corner instead of Quickley when running those plays. It's not about Quickley's playing time or development, from a practical perspective it's just a more efficient proposition.

It's part of the game, but doesn't mean goodbyes ain't hard.

Are you serious? He's upset so he didn't play well? Wow.

Sigh......

Maybe imagined things but I’m pretty sure IQ closed out the game and has closed out many games this season , I’m pretty sure Barrett is RJ is top 10 in minutes played the league, maybe I’m making all of this up in my head though.

Yeah I’m not even that upset really. Wish we could’ve beat them tho.. fk Miami

How could you not be upset? This roster is horrible, and on top of it, Thibs burys any potential 'youth movement' we have. It's the same Knicks as always. Nothing has changed, other than competing for that ever-exciting 8th seed, which will do nothing for this pathetic franchise except allow us to miss out on any talent in a stacked draft.

If you're happy with playing a team full of **** vets to get a few more wins, I feel sorry for you.

I rather be a competitive team more than any thing else.. if the youngsters aren’t good enough to supplant the vets then the that speaks more on the youth.. yeah Thibs has def been a little stubborn with his rotations but solely looking at today.. RJ was basically a no show from opening tip and Quickley was bottled up by Miami’s defense. I sort of get why they didn’t play big minutes today

I want Kenny Atkinson

less than 2 months into the Thibs-era and I already hate him. and this was so predictable. he hasn't changed! we all knew going in he liked his vets and he'd play them big minutes. and now he's bringing back his pal DRose who is a shell of his former self just cuz they have a pre-existing relationship

the few extra wins we have rn are not worth it IMO. I'd rather have a coach like Kenny Atkinson who can develop young talent while playing them

Can't teach an old dog new tricks. Thibs has never believed in rooks or even 2nd year players. He makes good vet teams great. He is the worst choice for a youth movement. What were the knicks thinking??

Maybe the Knicks didn’t like what they saw from Q shooting till midnight in an empty gym. We can’t have that here.
