It's a reasonable gamble from that perspective.

Issue is, that gamble costs $163 million or 25% of your cap for the next 5 years.

And that's where I find it unreasonable.

He doesn't make the leap and you're stuck with one of the worst contracts in the NBA. Double the size of Fournier's (not comparing them as players).

His TS% relative to other PGs is a good point, amd encouraging, but let's not forget he has had great floor spacers in Sacramento.

It only makes sense in the context of getting rid of Randles nearly as crappy contract. Thanks Scott Perry! You're the best!

But that won't happen, because idiocy is only available in small doses in the NBA and usually located at 34th street and 7th avenue.

All this stuff is a waste of time and keystrokes, of which I'm very guilty of as well.

Knicks aren't doing any more moves. They aren't trading for any PG. They have two PGs under contract to the tune of 23 million a year for two years, lolz. So much more valuable than Lonzo Ball. Money so much better spent than throwing those dollars at a Trent Jr or Norman Powell.

Yea, i look at it as a possible way out of Randles contract. 4 more years of Randle making 20-25% of the cap is worse. Knicks save face by adding Fox plus fill a huge need. Kings may be the only chance. I would throw in more. Even the kings may hang up the phone at the mention of Randle. But they are the kings and interested in Sabonis... they even thought about bringing back Perry.

Might as well make it Fox for Randle and Perry... we can even throw in his guy Fournier

No one wants Randle.

Scott Perry with Mills overpaid for him as the supersized version of "Let's try out a guy on 2nd contract who might break out!" (See Hardaway, Tim, Jr; Mudiay, Emmanuel; Burke, Trey; Mario,Super; Mcdermott,Doug, Vonleh, Noah; Payton,Elfrid, Reddish, Cam)

Now this moron Scott Perry re-upped Wandle for 4 more years because he desperately wants to be vindicated in his talent assessment and team building. Which suck. But Scott's ego is still fueling these sh*tty moves, I guess because Leon Rose is too new or dumb to realize Scott Perry sucks.

Not that I wish ill on people, but I'm kind of rooting for season ending injuries for Kemba and Rose so everyone is stuck with 40 mpg of Burks at PG for the rest of the year.

This guy has neither won, despite being at times surrounded by pretty elite shooting and a good center. Neither his winning or his box score stats, nor his shooting efficiency are good. He entered the league with elite defensive potential but hasn't sniffed an all-nba defense team. People thought he could be John Wall who was an average shooter but an explosive elite defender and wrecking ball in transition (pre-injury). Fox has been around half a decade and has mostly gotten worse, with his defense this year being terrible coming off bad last year. Besides "Yo! Fox! Lol Bro" nobody can point to anything the guy does at an elite level and he's owed $163 million **** dollars.

I just realized, even the Kings scammed us when they traded us Scott Perry for a 2019 2nd and cash

Not that the Knicks are getting him, but with all that, he'd instantly be the best player on the Knicks.

btw kings putting all their eggs in the basket of fox, who’s heavily flawed and haliburton, who already maxed out talent wise is a recipe for losing seasons.

And yet, still considerably better than any current Knick. Or their future "projections"

On any team. The latest batch of young Knicks to be extremely overrated.

The Kings suck even more at team building. Thibs maniacal style is good for a few extra wins, playing the ever living sh*t out of JAG vets.
