The Warriors feel like the closest to teams of the past with the two #1 options, good tertiary, 4th options and a decent bench, but even they feel like they could get picked off by Boston or the Heat, which aren't exactly stacked teams - very good teams, don't get me wrong, but still.
I don't know. Maybe I'm doing what we generally do, which is elevate the teams after the fact, so these teams are in fact as talented as a Bulls or Lakers team of yore.

I think there's just more parity in the league with the new contract structure having taken a few years to effectively impact the NBA landscape.
I also don't think there's a single player in the NBA on the same level as prime Kobe, prime LeBron or prime Curry. Maybe Giannis, but I think he's more flawed than these other guys were.
