It was stupid of that Pacers fan to provoke a crowd by wearing a Haliburton jersey on a night where the Pacers weren't even playing. Nothing positive was ever going to come out of it. But to physically touch the guy, or that young Celtics fan after game 4, is weak and dangerous. It also sets a terrible precedent for Knicks fans wearing their jersey at away games. And Windhorst is a respectable journalist - teasing him is fine but invading his space just to go viral and get the validation from the wider fanbase is lame.
The younger wing of the fanbase has always had a Red Guard component to it, from stomping on Randle's poster, to trying to silence the RJ critics online (including the KFS staff pressuring Macri on his own platform) and some of the extreme behavior we have seen recently.
It's only a minority, but I hope this minority doesn't take it too far and ruin the party for everyone else.
I kinda felt bad for Windy because he literally said that the Knicks were not going down in Game 6 prior to that happening

He was a good sport about it so its moot, but I don't think it's worth cussing at him over either.
Now if Knicks fans wanna cuss Stephen A out, I'll look the other way
