Another thing I don't get is that I thought the franchise felt winning the bird rights case was a big thing? Why would they just waste that stroke of good luck?

Isola says its hard to see it happening that the knicks match.. but anything is possible until it comes from the knicks.

Well it was a good thing provided the contracts for Lin and Novak were somewhat reasonable. Novak was overpaid slightly but that was always going to be the case. The poison pill makes it a bit harder for them to use that stroke of good luck however. I don't think they're intentionally trying to waste it though.

I think the Knicks are going to force the Rockets to trade with them. They are matching in order to get pieces
