Nope, the whole team from hitters to relievers are playing like crap. Time to blow up this team and start over.

his spin rate has dropped by 200 spins on all his pitches since they started checking, and he has a 4.69 era since.
he's way better than this but the yankees did not give him 9 years/300mm to be a the pitcher he was with the pirates.

I’m actually having more fun watching this team and the front office have a meltdown than winning.

That bitch Chapman being an All-Star is laughable.
Just end this season already and blow it up.
Sell the team Hal.

MLB should ban Astros from playoffs for at least 10 years minimum.
They are scum bags from top to bottom.
Altuve, Correa, Morton, Cole... etc.

MLB got scared because pitching got good and all the casuals hate it.
They should just move the fences in again like all those cool retro stadiums being built did, let the players juice more overtly, and juice the ball and everyone will get their 30 players hitting 50 homers a year back.

Johnny Damon was hardly a Yankee. Dude played for like 8 teams and he spent the most years in KC. Noodle arm.

Well, Mets' fans consider him a Yankee.
My brother in law is huge Yankees fan and Damon is his favorite player. But he's a little touched in the head.

Mets fans have their own problems to worry about. They never win anything so...throwing darts at the Yankees is all they have.

Time to blow this team up and start from the ground up. Trade Judge, Stanton, Chapman, Green, Sanchez and Voit for as many value prospects as we can and improve our draft stock. Build back with players that can put the bat to the ball and put it in play rather than try and hit everything for a HR.

Bruh got us a ring. I like him. Although yea, he bounced around. I think we can blame Damon for Cashman signing Ellsbury though.

Yep. I think for most Yankees fans (with common sense) the notion that it may be time to reset may be full on reality. The funny thing is they just have to look at the 2 teams at the top of the East if they aren't sure if it'll work as examples that it has worked and repeatedly worked. Question is does Hal Steinbrenner have the balls to own up to that reality or if he'll continue the charade of trying to fool fans into thinking this team can compete.

I am tired of hearing "you can't rebuild in NY" as an excuse. We can absolutely rebuild and it won't take too long to do so. With Dominguez, Wells, Smith, Volpe, Peraza, Park, Hauver, Alcantara as plus bat to ball guys and all the power arms we have in the pipeline, the future is in good shape.

They never win anything so...throwing darts at the Yankees is all they have.Your bro in-law needs to seek professional help if Damon is his favorite Yankee. Dude doesn't make any list of all time greats for normal Yankees fans. Dude couldn't get throw the ball AT ALL.
You'd think people would associate him most of all as a Red Sox player, after his career was over. Except maybe Sox fans:

I'd start by dealing away any of the following players:
Judge - sorry, he's never healthy, he's already nearly 30 etc
Stanton - as if anyone would want this guy. Whenever Cashman FINALLY decides to trade or sign for big $ FA guys, it's never the right ones, 75% of the time it's Stanton or Ellsbury types.
Sanchez - His bat, whenever it shows up, isn't worth it
Chapman - time to flip him for some assets one more time. Obviously worth a lot less this time around but still, a contender will take him, even if it's to be a setup guy.
LeMathiu or Torres or Gio - The positions these guys are best at is 3B and 2B. There is one guy too many. No, I don't want a gold glove player playing 1B so a subpar defender can play SS.
Gardner - just cut the guy already
Frazier - he sucks
Andujar - doesn't have a MLB position; you can't carry him and Volt at the same time; pick one.
It's a really badly constructed roster.
