The FBI identified white nationalist as the greatest domestic terror threat by a giant margin even with Trump in office. So it is fair to assume that under Biden some of them will be shut down. But some will be under the radar and inflict harm. It seems inevitable now.

As far as countering the rhetoric, nothing anybody says in response to the Q Conspiracy batchit election conspiracy BS will change any of their minds anyway. These people are unreachable.

So, fingers crossed. What Trump and the GOP are doing is wicked and may lead to the loss of innocent lives. Praying it doesn't come to that.

Note the change in words and how the Trump people are using them:

Stealing to them equals D Secretaries of State mailing out ballots to people who “didn’t ask for them.” So legal votes but ppl they rather not vote or to have voting made easier.

Also this goes with their “rigged” election, meaning people didn’t want him to win and organized to get him out.

So fraud is just their first, feckless attempt. They are also saying the amount of ballots and voter organization Dems did, which is part of course of any democracy, stole and rigged it.

Nah. All of this bluster is about trying to keep up the GOP enthusiasm for the remaining two Senate runoffs in Georgia. It's very disturbing to listen to. It's going to go on for a while. I think Biden is taking the right tact. Don't feed into it publicly. Continue to show calm and resolve while his people continue to prepare to take over on January 20.

I get what you're saying. However, he is legally president until 11:59am on January 20th. Short of Pence and the cabinet invoking the 25th Amendment to kick him out earlier (which won't happen), there's nothing anyone can do to make the next 71 days go quicker. Trump can huff and puff and say whatever he wants until then, but at the stroke of 12 noon the system shuts down for him. His nuclear codes will no longer work. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff will no longer take his military orders. And the US Secret Service will physically remove him from The White House if need be.

American freedom allows people to say and feel whatever they want. Sure, Trump and his MAGA fanatics are going to spend the next few weeks kicking and screaming and throwing a tantrum for being kicked out. Democracy allows them to feel that. However, democracy will also be a roadblock to Trump when his time runs out.
