As for her record as a prosecutor, she was doing her job then. Now, as Senator, and as Prez she has a different job.

Not to mention the climate and attitudes in America towards weed today are waaaay different than it was when she was a prosecutor.

I think as President she would work to fix to completely decriminalize it because she knows full well how absurd it is to lock people up for it

It’s just really hypocritical because she admitted to smoking weed in college and then ruins people’s lives for doing the same. She even opposed legalizing it in 2010. I personally can’t get behind that… looking at her record as a prosecutor is scary too. Seems like she’s part of the machine to me…

I think the Dems would vote for the above mentioned sammich over Trump. The replacement would have to appeal to swing voters. If she got the nod the VP choice would have to hold a lot of weight in that arena. I am not sure who that could be but, if Biden steps down they cannot fuq this up!

I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. She was playing the game to get where she is, Obama did the same (just look at how his stance on lgbtq eased up as he approached his 2nd term). I don't condone locking people up over weed, which is why I would hope if she ever became President she would do the right thing and decriminalize/expunge records/have ideas for programs to help people who lives got messed up over weed.

These folks in the party, like Adam Schiff who openly are calling for Biden to step aside, have given zero names in terms of a replacement. I find that alarming. Same with so called liberals who are in the public eye like Jon Stewart.

My guess is that they are hoping for a particular candidate and once you take Biden out, then you can have a convention and ignore the whole primary process (democracy) and appoint your preferred champion. Someone who could be anyone. Could be one of the socialists, could be Gavin, could be two darlings who never win Abrams and Orourke.
