12 runs on only 4 XBH? I didn't think that was possible for this team. Shefield looked like a disaster.

Yep. I think for most Yankees fans (with common sense) the notion that it may be time to reset may be full on reality. The funny thing is they just have to look at the 2 teams at the top of the East if they aren't sure if it'll work as examples that it has worked and repeatedly worked. Question is does Hal Steinbrenner have the balls to own up to that reality or if he'll continue the charade of trying to fool fans into thinking this team can compete.

I am tired of hearing "you can't rebuild in NY" as an excuse. We can absolutely rebuild and it won't take too long to do so. With Dominguez, Wells, Smith, Volpe, Peraza, Park, Hauver, Alcantara as plus bat to ball guys and all the power arms we have in the pipeline, the future is in good shape.

I agree. And they can add to that stockpile by dealing some of their stars now.

I did like a triple take when I saw that. Was never a big fan of Justus Shefield.

Huge start from Cole keeping in the 9th sends a message to Chapman, even if he gave up the lead. The problem he needs to be nearly perfect every time is he’s out on the mound it has to wear on a pitcher I don’t care who it is. Showed some guts tonight 132 pitches.

The Chapman and Andrew trades looked good at first but now it seems like we may not end up with any stater quality players ( Frazier, Sheffield, abreu, and Torres at his current trajectory).

Someone said this team would heat up in July well you better do it this month. This month might as well be October for the Yankees. Locastro reminds me a little of Tauchman, what the hell took so long to acquire him should’ve been done after dealing Tauchman.

What a major gag job by the Yankees. I would have rather watched them get swept then choke the way they did.

A bunch of choke artists. If fans wanna send a message don’t attend a Yankees game and attend minor league games instead.

Boone and Cashman need to get the hell out of here! Hal Steinbrenner is steadily turning the Yankees into what Dolan turned the Knicks into after he took over. I will not watch another second of this crap until things in the front office begin to change.

Have you seen the attendance at the stadium since covid restrictions were lifted? A lot of empty seats

Good! I hope the fans hit the team where it really hurts!

Aaron judge's mouth is bigger than his bat. Wasn't he the one that said he feels sorry for baseball after they acquired Stanton.

If Hal Steinbrenner had some balls, he'd force Cashman to fire Boone and cut Chad Green.... maybe Chad Green should clean all the bathrooms in YS as punishment for this loss.

If Hal had and balls, he'd have fired Cashman long ago. The whole team is trash, one step forward 3 steps back.

Its not Boones fault they got a closer making 17 mill a year and he can't get into the game because he sucks

Chapman inability has cost the Yankees a good amount of games recently
